Learn from the people who built Calgary.

Calgary Mentors connects you with experienced Calgarians — carpenters, nurses, painters, teachers, business owners — for one-on-one video and phone sessions. Every mentor starts with a free intro call, so you can meet before you book.

FOR MENTORS: No typing needed. Just talk. Answer a few friendly questions out loud and we write your whole profile for you. You choose what to charge, and you keep 85% of every session.

FOR LEARNERS: Browse real Calgary mentors by skill and neighbourhood. Book in two taps. Meet by video or phone — your number and email are never shared.

REVERSE MENTORSHIP: Browse Calgarians asking for help and choose who YOU want to help.

Built senior-first: big text, plain language, one step at a time.

A big one — thanks to feedback from real Calgarians:

• See prices and free intros right on the mentor list, and sort by price
• New filters: evenings, weekends, free intros, and languages
• Moved plans? Reschedule a session to a new time — no cancelling needed
• Group classes: reserve a seat, bring a friend, pay at the door
• After a session, your mentor can send you a note with tips and homework
• Skill Swap on the community board: trade what you know for what you want to learn
• Mentors: set up your sessions your way — any length, free or paid, up to three
• Sign in with Apple fixed

### 1.2 — 2026-08-21

Mentors are now in full control of their sessions: set your own lengths (10 minutes to 2 hours), your own prices, and choose whether to offer a free intro call — or none at all.

• Booking shows only times a mentor is actually available
• Live session prices on the booking screen
• Join your call right up to the end of the session
• Clearer refund and cancellation info
• A friendlier Community tab and lots of small polish

### 1.1 — 2026-08-08

This update makes Calgary Mentors easier to join and easier to match:

• Sign in with Apple or Google — one tap, no codes to type
• Pick your interests and we'll show mentors who share them first
• Mentors can now add a profile photo
• Apple Pay support at checkout
• Fixed session prices displaying incorrectly
• Payment reliability fixes and other small improvements
