This week it is totally nonfunctional ### 3/5 — Tips *2023-10-22, version 3.8.0* Make it an option to add the tip after the ride is completed! It’s not fair to the driver as the ride gets closed the second I exit the car, I would like to add a tip when I get out. ### 3/5 — Quote is not a guarantee *2023-02-15, version 3.3.0* Be aware that the estimated fare is just that….. an estimate. The issue is an undisclosed additional fee that was added. When I called to inquire I was forwarded twice (2 calls tried) to Accounting where they didn’t answer and just dropped the call. “Maybe call back next week.” Nope. I will go back to Uber. Charges More! *2022-06-02, version 2.17.0* Strongly not recommended! Immediately deleted the App after experiencing two rides. When you try to book a ride, it shows an estimated amount and there is no option to lock the fare. When the ride is completed the actual fare is way more than the estimated one. There will be extra fees by the name of waiting fees and tolls even if you got the ride on time. ### 1/5 — Higher fare than the preview *2022-05-07, version 2.17.0* I was charged $24 instead of $20 upfront preview which is 20% above original fare. ### 1/5 — Picked up wrong person *2022-05-01, version 2.17.0* They picked up the wrong person ### 1/5 — Not useable *2022-04-13, version 2.17.0* Will not let you sign in. Only prompts you to put your phone # in and verify it with a code. Then after a few attempts of trying to sign in locks you out for not too many attempts. ### 1/5 — Hidden arbitrary charges! *2022-01-17, version 2.14.0* Additional charges that can amount to more than half of the initial fee for no valid reason. I used the app so often and didn’t notice. One day I checked all my previous trips and I had been charged random additional charges anywhere from 2$ -9$!!!! I never make the driver wait. I was even charged 7$ additional for a scheduled trip that arrived too early! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Won’t take this service again *2025-06-02, version 3.16.0* I took this service on Saturday with my daughter which is just 3 years and the driver was in such a bad mood. He told me to control her, like she was a animal just because her baloon pop up. Bad service, won’t recommend. Uber driver are always nicer. Btw- Semachew, just being clear because I don’t want to blame all drivers. Additionally it was lo 29• degrees no air, and really dirty cab. ### 1/5 — Do not recommend *2025-04-11, version 3.16.0* Driver took a longer route and at my drop off location he didn’t end the ride to charge me more. I always used this app to go to the same location and it was a $10 dollar difference this time. The app also is not letting me rate the driver. No way this is cheapest in Calgary and the drivers are constantly whining about the price. Pretty much every car stinks to high heaven as well. Charged the credit card and sent us a confirmation text. Then proceeded to not show up. I called and they told me there were no Vans in the area so I would be refunded. Ok great now I have to scramble to book an Uber last minute. A simple call or text to let me know they wouldn’t be able to complete my trip ahead of time and this situation could have been avoided. ### 1/5 — Cab driver *2022-12-28, version 3.2.0* I got off work at 2am and ordered my self an ubur. As I was waiting for my ubur a gentle man was standing outside of my work and asked me to order a cab. I ordered him one and when I got home I received a phone call. Apparently the guy who I ordered a cab for that I have never met ran off and did not pay. That is not my fault when I was trying to be nice and order someone else a cab. Now the cab driver is threatening me and harassing me by calling me saying he is going to call the cops if I don’t pay. I’m not paying for a cab ride I didn’t take. Sorry but he is rude and I was trying to be nice to a stranger when it’s 2am and snowing. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2022-10-17, version 3.2.0* Doesn’t work anymore, every time I try to order a cab these days it just says there was an error. Tried to get a refund and still have not heard back from anyone! Scheduling the pickup was quick, and the locate diver feature was very helpful as we moved slightly down the street. We had two kids aged 10/12 and two adults, and we’re very comfortable.
