## What is Caliber Trail?

Caliber Trail is a private, offline bench notebook for watchmakers who need a dependable trail back through a teardown.

Keep project-specific context together from intake to reassembly without turning your camera roll into the service record.

DOCUMENT EACH REMOVAL STEP

• Record the watch identity, movement or caliber reference, symptoms, status, and intake notes
• Keep teardown steps in removal order
• Attach one optional bench photo to a step by capturing it or selecting it with Apple's Photos picker
• Place clear numbered markers directly on the photo
• Assign the movement module and tray cell
• Add screw, part, and lubrication observations in your own words

FOLLOW THE TRAIL BACK

• Enter reassembly with the recorded steps presented in reverse order
• Review the photo, markers, tray location, and notes for each step
• Mark stages complete as work progresses
• Keep unresolved replacement or follow-up items in a separate parts queue

COMPARE YOUR OWN RECORDS

• Enter before-and-after timing readings manually
• Search projects and see their current status
• Export a readable PDF service record
• Create and share a portable .calibertrail backup of editable project data

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

No account. No subscription. No advertising, analytics, tracking, AI, OCR, audio recognition, or developer-operated cloud service. Project records and photos are stored locally. Camera access is optional and requested only when you choose to capture a photo. Caliber Trail remains useful with a selected photo or a text-only step.

Caliber Trail is a documentation tool for users who already have the knowledge, equipment, and technical references needed for watch service. It does not identify parts or movements, diagnose watches, provide repair or lubrication procedures, judge timing results, or measure timing through the microphone.
