### 4/5 — Now you got yourself covered!

*2023-07-25, version 8.181114*

No more paperwork and easy access to 1000’s law in front of finger tips and good part is they update them thank you guys.

### 2/5 — Well it worked in 2015

*2016-05-27, version 7.160501*

I had to repurchase it in for 2016. However none of the buttons work and it looks like the non free codes are not available.

### 4/5 — Agree with complaint

*2015-05-13, version 7.15.0316*

I agree with the previous reviewer. Where are the code section numbers when you open an area of law, i.e, Family Law. When you go to sections within the Code, there are no longer any identifications to the code section ranges. This was extremely helpful in getting to a specific code section without having to guess its location in the entire Family Code. Without it I just have to guess and spend time trying to locate the actual specific code section I am looking for.

This needs to be fixed or this app is too cumbersome to use and loses its value as an on the fly way of looking up code sections. There are many other options, such as just running a search on the Internet or, God forgive, hauling around an old fashion book.

### 1/5 — No customer service

*2014-02-28, version 7.11*

This ap stopped working after I spent a bunch of money on codes. I figured I would just get in touch with some kind of support staff, but there is no support. There isn't even an email.
Don't waist your money!

### 3/5 — Formatting errors, limited navigation

*2014-02-11, version 7.1*

Recent update left pervasive formatting errors. In contrast to competing apps, when a code section references another section, you can't click a link to quickly navigate to the referenced section. These problems limit practicality for litigation attorneys. Deleting and buying the tekk innovations app.

### 5/5 — Great product

*2014-01-06, version 7.1*

One app on one little lightweight device to get access to all California codes almost anytime.

### 5/5 — Officer

*2013-12-12, version 7.1*

I have been in law enforcement for a dozen plus years. I have NEVER written a review for any product I have ever used (neither good or bad). I am extremely impressed with this product. I purchased the entire app a few years ago and have never regretted it. Instead of carrying those cumbersome code books in the field, I just use my I-phone. The app automatically updates and I don't need to re-order codes every year. The search function is "rookie friendly/proof". Even when I'm in areas without reception, I can still look up any code that is loaded. Download and enjoy.

### 1/5 — Deceiving

*2013-02-03, version 6.1*

I initially thought app was useful... Then I realized you had to make in-app purchase for some codes. The price listed for addition code was $2.99 for Penal Code, so I gave it a shot; not bad if it works. Apparently, what it didn't say, it is a HIGHLY abridged version making it completely useless to me. The codes I was looking up were not included.

### 5/5 — Good app

*2012-11-24, version 6.1*

Liked new features added in this release

### 4/5 — Good enough to beat the DHHS!

*2012-11-20, version 6.1*

Works fantastic.
Can't say thank enough.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Junk app

*2024-02-02, version 9.240102*

It’s junk 🙈👎🏼

### 1/5 — I rate this zero stars

*2018-10-17, version 7.171230*

all this is a money maker for the developer

### 1/5 — This thing bites

*2016-12-10, version 7.160822*

Can't open anything up, 2,374 steps to go through to rate this pice of !@#$%^&*. (hope that makes it through the censors). Don't waste your time

### 1/5 — Updates - not happening

*2016-12-09, version 7.160822*

The first year I had this app it worked great. I purchased a second year which is valid through May 2017. Now it will not update and doesn't work at all. I have emailed customer support and had it restored twice. It's failed again. I've deleted and reinstalled. I'm beyond done.

### 1/5 — Very Disappointed

*2016-10-31, version 7.160822*

I downloaded this app last year to get better understanding of the laws of California.

I paid for all of the state laws believing that access would be permanent and updates would be free. Today after opening the app I was told I had to pay to get the updated laws for one year.

I was misled and shame on the person who runs this scam.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2016-02-20, version 7.160121*

Worthless without having to spend $

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2016-01-15, version 7.151202*

If you're involved in law enforcement and looking for a app to help you out, this one is a no go. No penal code or traffic codes. Google is more helpful. I didn't even find the fish and game section to be that helpful.

### 1/5 — No support.

*2015-02-11, version 7.11*

Bought the one thing I was looking for and it didn't work at all. Uninstalling.

### 1/5 — Purchasing App Won't Eliminate Ads

*2014-04-29, version 7.11*

Even after paying $10.99 for the upgrade, the App still shows advertisements.

The advertisements are distracting when looking up the rules under stress in a courtroom.

Accidentally tap/touch the advertisement, and you'll be launched into a new page leaving the app behind.

Then you'll have to go through a dozen steps to get back to where you were.

### 1/5 — Unreliable -- No Support

*2014-04-04, version 7.11*

Initially when I purchased the entire CA Laws library of codes books a couple years ago it was wonderful. However, in the past year it seems that there are tons of new glitches, missing codes, miscellaneous characters throughout the code books, bookmarked code titles that don't correspond to the actual codes I bookmarked. Needs some work big time and more responsive app designers.

### 5/5 — Wake up to your corporate fiction

### 5/5 — Complaint

*2015-04-09, version 7.15.0316*

Using the Penal Code as an example: What ever
happened to the various range of section numbers once you get into a particular section. For example, you tap on Crimes and Punishment and rather then getting the various sections, there are no code sections to help you zero in on a particular crime. Use "assault" as an example.
