The map has everything little bit you could ever think of! And when you go park,with a season pass,they scan the code and u get in for free!the place its self is awesome too.but sometimes in the water park,things are closed because there are not enough live guards!and that’s weird.sooooooo that’s what I have to say. ### 1/5 — Rip off *2025-08-03* This is terrible Most every thing is closed 7 bucks for a Coke Zero 35 to park Not worth it so far As far as I’m concerned you can close now Vendors not very interested in greeting you Close to two hours to get here Get a grip ### 1/5 — ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS APP *2025-05-18* This is the worst app I’ve ever had to use! The times for the ride were completely wrong, and the app glitched constantly. For example, the app said that one of the lines for a ride would take 25 minutes. We ended up waiting in the line for over an hour. Another thing that made this app horrible was that it was incredibly hard to sign into or sign up for. I came to Great America on a field trip with my friend, and she had the same issues. The map features are horrible too. Maybe we were just too stupid, but we could not figure out how to get around the park. The map didn’t imply where the entrance/exit was and we ended up getting lost in the park. When we finally figured out how to use the navigation tool, it led us through a part of the park for employees only. We ended us getting caught by workers, but we didn’t even know we did something wrong. Then we got thrown out of the park and had to sit out there all day until the chaperones found us. We ended up getting in huge trouble with our teacher. ALL BECAUSE IF THIS STUPID APP WE LITERALLY GOT SUSPENDED FOR A WEEK! Do not, I repeat… DO NOT get this HORRIBLE APP!!!!!! (I literally want to defenestrate my phone rn!) ### 1/5 — Unable to Add Park ID to App *2024-10-04, version 8.4.3* I was able to add my Employee ID to my App in the past years, but with the newest update, I’m unable to do so.Two of my coworkers are able to see their pass on their accounts currently, but I’m told it was successfully added, but I’m unable to see it. This is the same for the Knotts app. I’ve reached out twice regarding this issue and there has been no resolve. Fix this PLEASE, it makes it way easier to use my Employee benefits while visiting as a guest!! ### 1/5 — Account *2024-07-07, version 8.3.3* I had created an account on this app and proceeded to buy a ticket for great america. The first problem was how slow and long everything takes and the confirmation code for the account does not work. The second problem is the app always has errors of trying to login, this makes ticket access really difficult. The last problem is the rides and wait times are inaccurate. ### 1/5 — Horribly glitchy! *2024-06-03* It keeps losing my season passes! I’ve had to resort to taking photos of my purchased passes on my phone and adding them to my Apple Wallet rather than rely on the app to hold them. I have to check to make sure they’re still there everytime I open the app and many times they’re not. After this most recent update I can’t even add them back onto the app anymore. After I put my pass number in it says “passes added” but nothing shows up. Don’t rely on this app to hold your pass! ### 1/5 — app doesn’t work for me *2024-04-20* Don’t update while you’re at the park like I just did, now I don’t have access to my dining and drink passes. This app just gives me different error messages every time I select something. ### 1/5 — Lack of testing for basic flows when they update the app *2024-04-20, version 8.2.9* Seems like the flow to add a ticket or retrieve a season pass qr code was not tested. We had to wait in line and get physical passes due to this bug. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2024-04-06* Many of the restaurants and refresh stations are closed during lunch hours. Bought annual pass and dining plan but could only use at a few restaurants. Guessing it's it high labor cost and understaffed.
