## What is CaliKids?

CaliKids turns learning to write into a game. Designed for young children, it guides little hands from their very first strokes to full words and sentences — in beautiful school-style handwriting.

Seven playful activities:
Alphabet — trace every letter (a–z) with animated stroke order.
Connect Letters — form each letter by joining the dots in the correct writing order.
Connect the Dots — 15 fun pictures to complete point by point.
Words & Sentences — practise real vocabulary and phrases.
Guess — see a picture and write the word (it reads the child's handwriting!).
Strokes — pre-writing patterns to warm up little hands.

WHAT'S FREE AND WHAT'S PAID
The alphabet and letter tracing are free and complete, forever. The other games come with a generous sample to try before paying anything. If your child takes to it, each theme can be bought on its own, there's a pack with all the content, and a subscription if you'd rather pay monthly. Every purchase goes behind a parental gate first, and anyone who already had the app keeps what they had unlocked.

CaliKids now grows with your child: 17 new Words themes (Christmas, dinosaurs, the sea, the farm, feelings…) alongside the animals, food and colours, and my world packs.

If you already had the app, you keep everything you had unlocked. The alphabet and letter tracing stay free and complete.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-03

What's new:
• Settings (language, theme, font, template, difficulty...) are now saved — close the app and reopen it, everything stays as you left it.
• Settings button moved to the top-right corner.
• In Sentences, text now stretches to fill each line, no empty gaps.
• Improved zoom: template, letters and your writing scale together; move around the sheet with two fingers.

Two new games and lots of improvements!

• New game "Connect Letters": trace every letter (a–z) by joining the dots in the correct writing order.
• New game "Connect the Dots": 15 pictures to complete point by point.
• Join the dots in order and watch them turn green as you go, with a hint button and a hard mode.
• Collectible stickers and a progress counter on the home screen.
• Encouraging voice when you finish each picture or letter.
• Redesigned home screen — clearer and easier to tap.
• Partial eraser in every game, so you never lose your whole drawing.
• The app now always stays in portrait.
