## What is Calist?

Unlock the Muscle-Up, the Human Flag and the Planche on a path built around your current strength. Calist turns calisthenics into a clear, measurable system, with a plan for today, an AI meal scan and a daily session that adapts to you.

You vs. Yesterday. Calist brings Skills, strength, Engine and Fuel together in one professional system.

TODAY — YOUR WHOLE DAY ON ONE SCREEN
• Open on a short checklist: your read, your session, your run, your nutrition, your weigh-in and your steps
• Complete every task for a perfect day, then close the evening with a check-in that shapes the days ahead
• Meet Kali, your AI coach, in a daily briefing that reads in under a minute, alongside one of 600 mindset pieces chosen for the phase you are in
• Switch the coach off whenever you like: with it off, nothing about your training, your body or your meals is sent for coaching
• Log what you forgot, because today and the two days behind it stay open for real entries

SKILL PATHS — SEE WHAT COMES NEXT
• Explore 23 Skills across six progression paths: pull, push, handstand, core, levers and legs
• Start with beginner goals like the First Pull-Up and the Wall Handstand, then build toward the Muscle-Up, Human Flag, Planche, Front Lever, Handstand Push-Up and One-Arm Pull-Up
• Every Skill lists its exact prerequisites and a Readiness estimate from the maxes you test
• Climb a ladder of 106 progression steps, each one dated in your step ledger

TRAIN YOUR WAY — GUIDED OR FREE
• Find today's session, your active program and a searchable workout library in the Train tab
• Follow a daily session based on your level, your schedule and your equipment
• Choose the weekdays you actually train, and say in one tap what you have with you today
• Train with 155 bodyweight exercises, 73 workouts and 19 programs, each with clear form cues
• Clear your targets and the next session asks for more, so the prescription grows with you

TRACK THE FUNDAMENTALS
• Test your maxes for Pull-Ups, Push-Ups, Dips and Squats, and time your Hollow Body, L-Sit, Plank and Dead Hang
• Count your week in training days: a session, a run or a rest day you chose on purpose each count once
• Follow progress charts, XP, athlete levels and eight-week trends for volume, sessions and pace
• Bring your daily steps and your weight in from Apple Health

FUEL — NUTRITION THAT FOLLOWS YOUR BODY
• Photograph a meal to estimate calories, protein, carbs and fat, and adjust every detection before you log it
• Get daily calorie and macro targets from the 14-day average of your weigh-ins, or set your own
• Log fast from 68 athlete staples, save your own foods and repeat them in two taps
• Cook from 30 performance recipes that rotate, and keep water in view with a simple tracker

ENGINE — RUNNING & CONDITIONING
• Start or import running workouts through Apple Health with time, distance, pace and personal bests
• Get a clear summary after every run and share a branded run card
• Choose from 24 engine sessions: easy runs, tempo work, intervals, long runs and hybrid race simulations
• Learn the technique and demands of the eight functional race stations, from the ski erg to wall balls

BUILT FOR HYBRID ATHLETES
Calist is for athletes who want Skills, strength, conditioning and nutrition in one place, with progress they can review. Ten repeatable challenges give the week a target, and the design stays out of your way: volt green on deep black.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.7 — 2026-08-20

Changing a session while you train is easier to find.

Tap Edit workout under the exercise list to add a movement from the catalog, or take one out with the minus beside it. A swipe to the left removes a row too, and everything you have already logged stays exactly where it is.

You vs. Yesterday.

### 1.1.6 — 2026-08-18

Your holds now count themselves.

Planks, dead hangs and every other movement measured in seconds have a countdown built into the session. Tap Start hold, get into position while it counts you in, and the set is logged the moment the hold is over, so you no longer have to switch to a stopwatch and back.

Your rest runs where you can see it.

While a session is running, Calist shows it on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: the rest counting down, the set that is due, and two buttons that move between them. You can confirm a set and start the next rest without unlocking your phone, and whatever you tap there is already in your session when you come back to the app.

The clock no longer stops when you look away. Leaving the app during a rest used to freeze the countdown where it stood. Rest and session time now follow real time, whether the app is open or not.

You can change a session while you are training.

If you notice halfway through that you are one pull short, you no longer have to start over. Add an exercise from the catalog at the end of the list, or remove one with a long press. Everything you have already logged stays exactly where it is.

A session you built yourself survives an interruption.

Free sessions used to lose every logged set if the app closed mid-workout. They now come back complete, the way sessions from the catalog always have.

We also fixed an issue that could briefly show active subscribers the reactivation screen at launch.

You vs. Yesterday.

### 1.1.5 — 2026-08-12

You can confirm a set and start the next rest without unlocking your phone, and what you tap there is already in your session when you come back to the app.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-08-10

Toi vs. Hier.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-08-06

Two numbers change with this update, and both of them get more accurate.

Your streak now counts TRAINING DAYS instead of sessions: a day counts once, whether you trained, ran, or struck a training day on purpose. If you often train twice a day the number looks smaller; if you run, it looks bigger.

Your daily calorie, water and protein targets now follow the 14-day average of your weigh-ins instead of the weight you entered at signup, so expect them to shift by a few percent.

Also new: the Today screen that holds your whole day on one checklist, Kali as your AI coach with a daily briefing, the weekdays you actually train, and a two-day window for logging what you forgot.

You vs. Yesterday.
