## What is Calivora?

Calivora is a creator community focused on leathercraft.
Here, you can discover independent leather artisans, browse authentic workshop records, and learn about the complete process behind each piece—from material selection, pattern making, cutting, and skiving to stitching and edge finishing.
We believe that the value of a piece lies not only in the finished product, but also in the decisions, experience, and dedication involved in making it.
On Calivora, you can:
Discover leather artisans and workshops with different styles
Browse leather goods, making records, and craft notes
Watch short videos showing the leather-making process
Learn about vegetable-tanned leather, hand stitching, leather carving, restoration, and edge finishing
Explore the materials, tools, and workbench records commonly used by artisans
Save your favorite works and artisan profiles
Like, comment, and discuss specific details of the making process
Follow creators who continuously share their work and craft experience
Create your own artisan profile
Publish your works, material choices, making methods, and projects in progress
From the first paper pattern to the final polishing, every workshop has its own rhythm, and every piece has a process worth documenting.
Calivora aims to provide leather artisans and craft enthusiasts with a focused, authentic, and easy-to-use space for communication.
Here, discover inspiration, document your making process, share your experience, and help more people see the marks left by human hands.
