The app doesn’t work. It won’t let me call a ride and it won’t take none of my cards it just keep saying the information is wrong on literally all of my cards. The ride I requested had a fixed cost $14 and the driver up charged me $27.79 I wouldn’t recommend this app they lie about the cost of the ride fare. Just stick with Uber or Lyft ### 3/5 — Wanted to join but.... *2019-09-14, version 1.0.8* I'm a long-time driver that WAS very interested in seeing what this is about and signing up until I searched and searched and can't find any CLEAR information on how it works for both the driver and customer. Like step by step. So it looks like the only way is to give ALL of my personal information first, including my ssn AND my credit card in order to even gain access to the app to explore. And I read the cancellation policy included a request in writing 30 days before. But wait... You have to wait for approval?? I've never been a fan of anyone offering a trial where I have to give my card information in the beginning. You could easily disable someone's account until they sign up for real and pay, once the trial is over. Good luck, I'm passing for now. ### 2/5 — Hopeful, but first experience was a complete waste of time *2019-08-31, version 1.0.8* Downloaded the app yesterday. I was in the middle of a photo shoot with about 30 people when I called a ride for a friend with a dog, which was relatively simple and intuitive and the option to travel with a pet is very useful. The app showed that they were picked up and arrived to our location, went outside and nobody was there. There was not a way to quickly handle this situation through the app so I called the main office number. I spent 10 minutes on the phone with a nice CSR, but she could not tell me why the pickup didn’t happen or if my credit card would be refunded, which was originally charged twice, still showing as charged once, frustrating. Almost everyone that was at the studio knew about CAR and was excited to know about the option to travel with a pet. This could have been an easy 20-30 new downloads/customers for them. ### 3/5 — Could be better *2019-08-19, version 1.0.7* I downloaded CAR because one of my lyft drivers told me there was an option to set a schedule and negotiate a weekly price with the drivers for people like me who work all week. While being on the app I have not seen an option like that. All in all It’s more expensive than Lyft and Uber. I don’t like how complicated it is and that you have to choose multiple drivers who all have different price ranges. You might end up paying $15 for a ride from 1 driver but could have paid $7 if a different driver accepted your ride. The best thing about this is app is that they offer asl drivers for hearing impaired. ### 5/5 — Needs some features *2019-07-31, version 1.0.4* Driver app needs multiple car option. I want to be able to switch between my cars. The Location Always On is your only option.
