## What is Call Me I'm Bored?

Call Me I'm Bored is a simple way to tell friends you're available for a phone call.

Flip your status to "bored" whenever you're free to talk. Friends who follow you are notified and can call with one tap. If someone you don't follow wants to reach you, they send a request first—no unexpected calls from strangers.

Features

• Let friends know you're available with a single tap

• One-tap calling between mutual followers

• Call requests from people you don't follow

• Find friends from your contacts (we only store hashed phone numbers, never the numbers themselves)

• Notification controls for every type of alert

• Built-in block and report tools

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-08-04

Shortened the contacts permission description in Info.plist. The new text is:
> The app matches your contacts to find friends who already use the app so you can follow them. Eg: if your contact "Alex" is on the app, you'll see Alex in a "Contacts on the app" list. Phone numbers are hashed on your device--raw phone numbers are never uploaded or stored.

The old text was too long. We tried to keep the information exactly the same but slightly less wordy. The text from the previous version was:
> Call Me I'm Bored matches your contacts to find friends who already use the app so you can follow them with one tap. For example, if your contact "Alex" is on the app, you'll see Alex in a "Contacts on the app" list and can follow Alex directly. Phone numbers are hashed (SHA-256) on your device before being sent--raw phone numbers from your address book are never uploaded or stored.
