## What is /call?

Your AI agents can finally call and text you.

Kick off a long task, walk away from the keyboard, and let your agent reach you like a real person would: your iPhone rings with a native call, you answer and speak, and your spoken reply is delivered back to the agent as text.

HOW IT WORKS
• Open the app once — it assigns you a private /call-me number. No account, no email, no sign-up.
• Give that number to your own AI agents (works with Claude Code out of the box via a plugin, or any agent through a simple CLI).
• Your agent can now text you (each session gets its own conversation thread) or place a real voice call when it needs a decision.
• Missed the call? It lands as a thread you can answer by text or a voice message whenever you're ready.

BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO RUN AGENTS
• A deploy agent asks "ship it?" and you approve it from the couch, by voice.
• A research agent texts you its findings as they land.
• Any long-running automation can escalate to a phone call instead of dying silently in a terminal you stopped watching.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Anonymous by default — your number is random and yours alone.
• Voice audio is processed in real time for transcription only, never stored.
• Regenerate your number any time, or delete it and every trace of your data with one tap.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-11

New Feedback tab: a two-way conversation with the developer. Write anything, and the reply lands right back in the same thread.

Your number now survives deleting and reinstalling the app, restored through iCloud Keychain. Installing on a second iPhone asks whether to keep your existing number or take a new one, so two phones can each have their own.

Fixes answered calls that could have no sound. The app now asks for microphone access while it is open, because an incoming call cannot ask, and it tells you when access is switched off instead of leaving you on a silent call.

Claude Code setup is now a single connector command. Also fixes a keyboard that could cover the whole screen in conversations.

### 1.3 — 2026-08-09

One command now rings your phone. The setup screen leads with a single copy-paste line you can hand to any AI agent — or run yourself in a terminal — and your phone rings straight away. No plugin, no install, no restart.

If you do use the Claude Code plugin, the install instructions were incomplete in earlier versions and left the plugin switched off. That is fixed.

The app now also tells you when notifications are turned off, since that silently stopped texts from your agent showing up.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-30

First-run setup: after the privacy disclosure the app now walks you through connecting an AI agent, instead of dropping you on an empty list.

Your account is now tied to this device, not just to your number — reading your history or deleting your data requires the app itself.

Reach the setup steps any time from My Number, and sign other devices out from there too.
