Tried signing in with a call of duty account first, then with my Xbox account. Then it asked to confirm using an Authenticator app. (I don’t have one?) I hit the “need help?” Button but it didn’t do anything, classic. So I am unable to use the app. But I bet it’s great! Edit: eventually managed to get in. Now it says there is no data for my account. (But i can see that it is successfully linked to my Xbox live account, so this makes no sense). So the app remains unusable. Very frustrating. I can’t even edit my mobile number from the mobile website because the Save button doesn’t respond. Hey activision, maybe invest more money into this app (or the game itself which crashes all the time), and less money into your precious battle pass, please. ### 2/5 — Lame game *2023-01-19, version 3.0.7* Can y’all not manage to update and keep a phone app running for more than a year? This app lost all its support. None of the pages load. MW2 has been out for months and still no support from the app. What’s the point? You publish unfinished games with thousands of bugs. No ranked play. No stats tracker. Social menu is bugged for the third game in a row. Seriously what are y’all doing with all the money? COD has fallen down such a steep slope. It’s no wonder people flock to other games. Can’t even run a CDL league because the devs don’t give a f about competitive play. SBMM ruins the experience for casual players more than being in a lobby of high ranked players. But atleast we have prox chat in wz. What a joke. ### 3/5 — Almost perfect, but with a fatal flaw *2022-09-23, version 3.0.7* This is a great app and has been very fun to use while I was collecting camos last year! There is only one flaw, as I see it, but it is like the UI equivalent of nails on a chalkboard. Under the “Player” tab, you can see a daily tracking graph, which gives your total kills and deaths for each day. You can tap the graph to show the specific numbers for a particular day. That all makes sense, and is good information for comparisons across time. But when you tap the graph to see your K/D for a particular day, this information appears in a box right under wherever your finger is. So it’s really difficult to actually read your stats by interacting with the graph. Maybe just tapping the graph could bring up the stats box, and tapping again could make it vanish; this press and hold situation has got to go. This is worth two full stars to me as a developer but otherwise the app is a pleasure to use! ### 4/5 — Semi-perfect *2021-09-18, version 2.24.2* The app works wonders honestly. Simple UI, easy to navigate, etc. I appreciate that it tracks pretty much every aspect of my gaming session. You can see where you die the most on the map and where your kills show up most along with where your team dies and gets their kills. Perfect for seeing what you do wrong and what you’re right in each situation. Perfect for anyone who likes being analytical and competitive. The reason this app gets 4 stars although it’s such a quality app is because you can’t see all of your matches played. You can only view the most recent ones or the best preforming matches. Would love if I could see all of my matches from start of my time playing at 0Hrs to now and track my progression along the way. Another reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because I cannot buy COD points through this app but I can buy bundles and the battle pass. Just seems illogical that can spend my existing COD points through the app but cannot buy more through it as well. ### 3/5 — Stop *2021-07-24, version 2.23.1* I’ve been playing Call of Duty for 10 to 11 years and I love it. however past few years has gotten real bad specially this year. All the cheating, I wish it would stop. I wish Activision etc. COD would put a cheating software on there so people cannot cheat. There should be severe punishment for cheating. People like me love the Games and I think I speak for the majority of us gamers and we feel like we’re being robbed from our money and the enjoyment that we get from playing these games and you’re really causing a lot of people to stress out and that’s not right. Activision etc. COD need to step up and make it right for all of us gamers that enjoy the game. I have almost all the games of COD games and I hate to leave but I feel that I’m being taken advantage of we spend a lot of money on this stuff to play and throughout the year on these games and we’re all feeling robbed so I hope you do the right thing and turn this around because it would be sad to see you go. With all the cheating and stuff that’s going on I think three stars is more than generous. ### 4/5 — Call of Duty Warzone *2021-06-06, version 2.21.0* I use the app quite frequently however theres a couple tweaks that I would make with navigating and custom accessibility based on the individual. Im usually looking over my individual stats or the teams or overall game etc. The social/friends tab Is a little confusing to read. Basically the app itself can be a lil roundabout if your not familiar or know what you are wanting to look up. It would be cool to lookup individual game stats and have a quick link to forums or whatever the player needs to improve on can have a quick link to the maps or patch notes. ### 3/5 — Not a happy gamer *2021-05-28, version 2.21.0* I do enjoy the app for the basic stat viewing and seeing if friends are online cross platform. However my account was stolen and the person changed my email and password so I can't play but I'm still logged into the app and can see the person's gamer tag and match history. I reported it to activision online but haven't heard anything in days. It's sad because I purchased the game on Ps4 and then again on PC along with battle passes etc. I feel like the response time for this should be much much quicker and I even see reports of people not getting any response. I know this is not app related but at this point I'm hoping someone will see it and maybe reach out. Only other app specific feedback I can mention is maybe learn from games like Destiny that allow you to modify classes from within the app. ### 3/5 — Great Concepts, Poor Follow Through *2021-01-21, version 2.14.0* I was really excited about this app when I read all the new features the developers were adding in. However, the follow through is lacking to say the least. Ops don’t track right. Only the Modern Warfare store is accessible and even that won’t load right 50% of the time. The “News” section is updated less than the games themselves, which is a HUGE disappointment considering all the things constantly going on with COD. It would be great to just check for new info in the app rather than having to check all the review sites to find out what’s going on. Also, I enjoy watching league play on a regular basis when the season is going, but the last thing I give a crap about is what league gamers want for Christmas or what they did to celebrate their win. Hard to understand why they waste time having someone write that useless and uninteresting garbage when there are updates and in game trends that people actually WANT to read about. Seems like they could make this app a lot more useful if they would quit using it to push unwanted product. ### 3/5 — This app needs to be fixed *2021-01-18, version 2.14.0* Although I find this app to be very intuitive, I have found 2 bugs that have been very aggravating to me as of late: 1. I cannot view my stats of my own profile. This is, in my opinion, a very big problem. I know many people that use the app to try and track their stats, myself included. This app has a great function that allows people to check their recent stats and see their progress which I like. But how am I supposed to view my own progress if this app won’t let me? I have tried to login to the Activision website to allows my stats to be viewed by everyone, but it is a very temporary solution. This only works for around a few hours before I have to log back in to the website, and change my viewing again. I have to do this over and over just to view my stats? This is such an inconvenience that I don’t even want to use this app anymore until this problem is fixed. 2. I can’t even change my notifications and privacy settings. It’s bad enough that I have to change my privacy settings just to view my stats, but why do I have to do that on the Activision website? Sure, the app will allow me to change my privacy settings every now and then, but for the most part, nothing pops up when I click it. And when I do have access to it, it still does not fix the first problem I addressed. Please fix this app so I can actually use it properly. ### 4/5 — Solid.. *2021-01-01, version 2.13.0* Greed. Black Ops is garbage. Or really should be it’s own separate game cause the game is too huge especially for console gaming. Ruins the already terrible lobby/load-in screens for warzone and also everything in multiplayer is separate and makes it confusing if you don’t purchase Black Ops. Other than that I like the app but it has some glitches. The squad tournaments are cool and you get to view more stats than before. Not sure if people receive the reactions from friends or not. Lastly, just make new map packs for multiplayer like the old titles used to do. I’d prefer that a lot. Like Wetworks or Overpass maybe...please. “Stay Frosty” ### 3/5 — Sad to see that the latest update dropped stat tracking for WW2 and BO4 *2020-11-18, version 2.12.0* PLEASE BRING BACK BLACK OPS 4 AND WW2 STAT TRACKING!!!So with the latest companion app update, stats from ww2 and bo4 are no longer tracked. I was dissapointed to see this as it gave me sort of a sense of accomplishment and made me feel like a COD vet being able to go back and see my stats from previous titles. I hope that with the new integrated progression system between Modern warfare and cold war that Modern Warfare wont eventually get dropped. It would also be nice to be able to see the officer progression from modern warfare through the app aswell. By the way, the companion app support page on the Activision website never mentioned anything about dropping stat tracking for older titles as new ones come out! I feel that long time fans of the franchise are atleast owed an explanation. ### 3/5 — Glitchy but still cool *2020-08-23, version 2.9.1* For the most part I like this app. There are just a few things that keep happening that tend to get annoying. Like not tallying scores correctly for the weekly tournaments. My squad lost several of these because the app just wouldn’t tally up our points anymore. As if we reached a score cap. Meanwhile our adversaries scores were still rising. Another thing is sometimes it will completely freeze up. I have had to uninstall and reinstall the app on several occasions in order to get it back on track. One thing I would like to do is be able to modify my load outs like before in the previous edition of COD. I just wanted to point out some of the issues my friends and I have had. I’m sure you guy and gals will figures it out though. Anyway, stay Kewl! ### 4/5 — More glitches *2020-06-09, version 2.8.2* Recent update, now the recent matches don’t update to the app. My last 20 matches list only has 10 matches, and does not show anything from yesterday. Next squads(Ops, Weekly tournament). This hasn’t worked in a month. It only shows “ERROR Something went wrong. Please try again.” And clicking ‘RETRY’ does nothing. Weapon stats: I would love to see camp progress here, I am mostly checking in as I obsess about my progress toward Damascus. Also when you look at the format for things like equipment, it shouldn’t be a one size fits all for the headers, “shots fired” and “shots landed” don’t apply to things like claymores. Check the phrasing for the stats you can see in the game console. This is how things should be phrased, and what should be pulled. This is for all equipment. And still waiting to be able to adjust load outs in the app. That was mentioned as something that was coming soon back when the app first launched. Fix these little glitches and the app would be great. It has been better. ### 4/5 — Great App! *2020-06-03, version 2.8.1* They’re trying to fit a ton of information and functionality in this app which is a complicated problem to solve from a user experience perspective. The last update lessened the amount of scrolling, swiping, and clicking you had to do to find stuff which is great. The app keeps track of all kinds of statistics and enables players to participate in squad competitions which is fun. It can be glitchy in 2 areas I’ve seen: 1. When the week ends for a squad comp and you go to that section Monday morning it sometimes tells you there’s an error or that you need to join a squad. 2. It has been giving me the 2 pop ups that my squad placed and I need to claim my rewards repeatedly throughout the week ### 4/5 — Accurate and organized but minimal *2020-04-13, version 2.6.1* The stats are accurately updated and I’m able to check out previous games both multiplayer/warzone which are both separated making for easy distinction, K/D SPM highest kill streak, etc. I do wish you could view others information as well to see how your competing against your friends, and the biggest thing I wish was integrated is the load out manager for the new MW it seems black ops 4 is the only one available, other than that the app is nice, you get occasional in games tokens and gifts and you can view most info you are looking for, if it was better and keeping track or friends stats and there was a MW load out manager this would be an easy 5 stars. Regardless I appreciate the team for continued updates on the app because it’s very easy for companies to just abandon apps like this and let them get outdated with minimal maintenance, also please let me turn off cross play lol I can’t deal with the sweaty PC players anymore haha, I mean I can but, you know what I mean lol ### 3/5 — It’s cool but kinda cheesy *2020-03-04, version 2.5.0* Cool idea helpful at times but I haven’t received my weekly tournament prize for some reason, kinda stupid but that’s just me. The heat maps of all the maps are neat to see where your hot routes are and where you get kills, die, etc but again I don’t give a f*#< about that in the long run. I’d give this 5 stars if the actual game got map pack releases like cod used to do on a regular basis. Whoever’s working at cod on this used their brain power for the wrong thing this time. We want play time and maps over everything else. And another thing, why do we have to pay for gore on multiplayer and only have it on designated guns? If anyone at Activision reads this please stop being a bunch of silly gooses and also, please bring back prop hunt.. please, please, please ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — COD review *2023-02-12, version 3.0.7* I love the idea of this app and I only have black ops 3 and call of duty 2.0 so when I got this J thought it was also for 2.0 and when I got it it still doesn’t have 2.0 so that is one reason why it’s a 1 star review because it hasn’t even had a update for so long at this point I don’t believe there is a new update but almost all the one star reviews are the same all they say is it’s a one star because they don’t have 2.0 on it yet then make your own app like it’s not a big deal just wait. The whole idea of the app sounds amazing but it is really actually good it tells you when your friends are on and everything that is what I mostly like but still I’m a little mad on how they did not update there app. There last update was literally at 2022. In my opinion it’s good but it doesn’t have the newest games and it might at some point that’s really all but what is so annoying is that most of the one star reviews are talking about COD 2.0 and COD is bad. That is really It. ### 1/5 — Terrible support *2022-11-25, version 3.0.7* Activision might have the worst support in gaming. It’s impossible to get ahold of an actual person to help you. I’ve tried for over a year to get someone to help me. I recently submitted a hacking request to regain access to my account. I wasn’t hacked but I thought that this way I could regain access to my account. I know there is backup codes. I share the email address with family and someone in my family deleted them. Ever since I put in the google Authenticator 2 factor. I do not have access to my account. For whatever reason when I use the google Authenticator and put the codes into my activision account it does not work. I don’t know what to do. I’ve tried everything to get access to my account but nothing has worked. It floors me how a billion dollar company had the worst customer support. I just hope I don’t get logged out of my account because I would lose all the stuff I have purchased over the years. I wish I could go lower than one star but yeah I can’t. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT USE 2 FACTOR AUTHENTICATION AND MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR BACK UP CODES. If you do not, you are screwed like me. ### 1/5 — Locked out *2022-09-15, version 3.0.7* Been locked out of my app to where I can’t access it. I’ve changed my password multiple times. I’ve deleted app and re-downloaded multiple times. Every time I tried contacting activision about the problem. They basically send me a “no reply” email saying it’s basically not their fault. Can’t get help for the app at all and would like access to this app. Tried signing in through PlayStation and same thing. Noticed problems when I activated 2 factor authentication. I’m unable to turn off 2 factor authentication no matter if I delete the app or go to settings and try turning off. Been unable to access my account for over a month. I would like access to my account. This is so frustrating. Please, if you’re reading this, help me resolve the issue. ### 1/5 — 2FA Issues with Activision *2022-06-02, version 3.0.6* 2FA was supposed to keep our accounts safe. Unfortunately, Activision (both the main website as well as the CoD app) has been inaccessible to me for the past year even though I have the Authenticator as well as it being paired properly (went from working to log in to not working almost overnight). I’ve tried my back up codes. No luck there either. I’ve even tried logging in through Xbox. No luck there either. I’ve made multiple attempts to contact Activision support regarding this issue over the past year and they apparently just ignore the messages on Twitter and anywhere else they are contacted. I’ve got my back up codes but what is the point of backup codes if none of the codes work, even the backups? At this point I’m just going to stop buying any Activision game (including non-CoD games) or content (including all in-game store items) until Activision takes care of this issue. I’m also going to stop streaming it the 2 times a week it’s scheduled for. I’m also going to continue explaining to my viewers why I’m not going to be streaming it for the foreseeable future. DOWNLOAD IF YOU WANT TO THROW YOUR PHONE *2021-05-14, version 2.20.0* The first thing this app will do is make you set up two factor identification even though you might already have it set up and then when you try to login it will only sit there on the same screen the entire time and never let you do anything the only reason to download this app is to gift the battle pass which is about the only way you can do it and it absolutely will not let you do that this app is complete garbage and needs a complete makeover it does not work it has never worked in the past years that it’s been out. With the amount of money that Activision has this is unbelievably unacceptable completely worthless complete trash horrible job horrible, horrible, horrible!!!! ### 1/5 — App refuses to find my psN *2021-01-27, version 2.14.0* This app is total garbage. It won’t even allow me to connect my psn account (for which I have used the correct email and password) and it gives me this message “Sorry, we weren’t able to find any gameplay data for your account. Check your profile to verify the correct first-party account is linked. Please note that we currently do not have stats for Call of Duty Mobile.” Which is totally a lie because my account very much exists with stats. One star but wish I could give it less. I keep getting put in lobbies that are horribly mismatched. I just want to turn of sbmm because it ruins my ability to enjoy the game as I’m a casual player. I’m giving up on call of duty because it’s mediocre yearly subscription that only changes in negative ways. This is coming from a 11+ year fan. Screw activision and infinity ward for wasting my money once again ### 1/5 — Worthless app *2021-01-19, version 2.14.0* I downloaded this app to check the leaderboards since treyarch has done little to nothing to fix the leaderboards in game . Every time I try to see the leaderboards in zombies my game crashes and ultimately crashes my ps4. There is no way around other than unplugging my PlayStation to reset it . I’ve waited over and over for it to load in game and I get nothing. When I try to close app , it loads forever ultimately doing nothing. Cold War is ruining my PlayStation , and when you get this worthless app , you can’t even look at the leaderboards either . What a joke . Make your game and console crash in game , and this worthless app has no leaderboards either . This is why people still play war zone over the stupid bugs Cold War seems to have everyday . At least make your apps usable if the game won’t get fixed . ### 1/5 — So bad.. too much bug and support is slow *2020-12-19, version 2.13.0* When we finish weekly tournament on 1st place every time we need to contact support on mail and give squad player information, or we dont get rewards.. last 2 times my squad dont get rewards for 1st place.. support team dont answer on my mail and we dong get rewards. When weekly tournament is battle royal kills calculator dont do your jobs. When i finish game with 9kills i dont get point on app scoreboard, and next time when i finish with 3kill then is correct, but next 3-4 match when i finish we got 0 points.. soo much bugs.. report is dont work, we cant report anything, last time player have 4000kills in batle royal in 3days??? And we cant report him becose report button is dont working.. and too much other bugs.. fix it if you want to someone give you maybe 2 or 3 star.. ### 1/5 — Where’s the loadout editor for modern warfare? *2020-09-14, version 2.9.2* When gunsmith and class creation for modern warfare is added I’ll change this to 5 stars, but without that I don’t really see the point of this app. The heat maps are kinda cool I guess but y’all should probably work on coming up with other features as well. Like add the barracks for example, let people switch operators, calling cards, emblems, etc from the app. Or add a section to find gameplay clips, tips and tricks, weapon builds, etc. Or a section to get detailed descriptions on the in game weapons, vehicles, operators, etc. Those are just some suggestions, but bottom line this app is severely lacking in features. Consider taking a look at companion apps for other games for inspiration, there’s really a lot more you could be doing. Oh and the store seems to be bugged, none of the content loads despite everything else loading without a problem. Don’t take this the wrong way, I love y’all and appreciate all the hard work you do, I just love the game and want to see the companion app be the best it can be. ### 1/5 — “Connecting to online service...” *2019-12-06, version 2.0.3* This rating isn’t for the app itself, simply because the app won’t even work to begin with.. Whenever I try to log in using my Microsoft account, it just gets stuck on “Connecting to online services” When I try to create an account, it tells me that I did not fill in my info, which I have correctly and accurately filled in the boxes numerous times. I have tried on multiple devices, still doesn’t work. There’s nothing I can do to log in, so the app is basically useless. According to some forums, this has been an issue for some folks for at least a month now, with no resolve. I waited a couple weeks in hopes for an update to the app that fixes the issue, but no luck. Hopefully this negative review catches someone’s attention & progress is made. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — If you haven’t tried this app read this!! *2020-10-29, version 2.11.0* So at first I was confused with the signing in part. If you click on the Xbox button and sign in there first then once you are in then you need your activision account information for the other login to get your information. Now that your past reading that you need this app it is very cool and useful! Super easy to understand and a great tool for keeping track of your K/D and W/L ratios. So after all that I’m going to just tell you that it’s an app you need if you think you are semi serious or a serious player. ### 5/5 — Been Playing Since CoD 2 On 360 *2020-10-02, version 2.10.0* I absolutely LOVE WarZone. The Multiplayer gauntlet had gotten very stale to me, but the Battle Royale Modes are so amazing, so incredible. A lot of players seem to nitpick the game. To that I say; Look what the game does, to have so many players online at one time all over the world, it’s going to have some slight hiccups here and there. I love it and can’t get enough. It’s my escapism from all the negativity in the world. When I boot up and play with my friends all my problems disappear while I’m playing. Every BR game is a different story. It’s why streamers like Dr. Disrespect are surging. Wish I was better at the game, but that will come in time. Now, it’s time to log on baby!!!!!! ### 5/5 — Ops Leaderboard is FIXED *2020-08-26, version 2.9.1* Update 4: The Results screen is fixed! Still recommended taking screenshots this week in case the bug come back, but everything looks good now! Way to go App Team! Update 3: There were updates yesterday, which fixed the rewards issues. All earned rewards for last week have been granted. So, props to the app team for that! On the down side, the “Results” screen is still broken; it still shows incorrect results for last week. It calls into question whether it will be fixed in time for this week’s tournament, and whether the results issue will come back again or not. All users should keep an eye on their scores and take screenshots of the scores, in case you don’t get your rewards this week. Update 2: The app is still broken. My squad was in first place all week, but with the weekly tournament concluded, it shows my squad in sixth place! The integrity of the weekly tournament is definitely in question and this error casts doubt on all of the results the app calculates. Update 1: Still needs work. The obvious errors are corrected, but the team totals on the leaderboard are wrong. It is under counting each squad’s score, some by hundreds. Original: The latest update broke the Ops Weekly Tournament leaderboard in the app. Activision better fix this before this week’s tournament is over so that rewards are given out fairly. ### 5/5 — Too good to be true. *2020-02-11, version 2.4.0* Honestly just got this app this week because I saw it on the MW feed and I can literally see myself using this A LOT more than I thought. You get XP for signing in, you can participate in tournaments and even customize your BO4 classes from here. •If I were to put in recommendations my main one would be to allow that create a class editor for MW and even allow us to get 3D models/editor for the operators. Those would definitely allow for a better reason to download the app and bring people to appreciate the operators and their outfits. ### 5/5 — Would be great if it worked all the time *2020-02-10, version 2.4.0* I have been using this app for a few months now and through the past few updates the fact that the app itself is constantly missing matches that I did or is days behind on my recent matches doesn’t show any improvements. My teammates are trying hard in the weekly tournament and it’s like a waste of time, as well as depressing to see you have been playing hard to win and comes in 5th place because the game app only recalls the games you played 2 days before the tournament has ended. ### 5/5 — Clan options *2020-01-02, version 2.1.0* We need a way of changing our clan name and clan description from within the app. Bungie has this for Destiny 2. We need this for Call of Duty. Also, I feel like we should have a form of a Clan Banner. Maybe it could be called a Clan Medal? We could change the design of it and the color. Design options could include two crossed guns, wings, skull and bones, and more. Outside design options could be different kinds of shapes. It could be similar to emblem creation but, the options could be provided by the developers. I feel like we should also have a way of changing load outs from within the app as well. Overall it’s a very clean app and I love the daily rewards as well as the weekly tournaments. ### 5/5 — Great but.... *2019-12-28, version 2.1.0* Great app overall, only complaint or suggestion would be to let us know what friends are playing online. Yea you can use the PSN app to tell you which PS friends are on, but what about your friends on other consoles? Should be able to let us know who and who is online. Cause sometimes you make friends and they’re on pc or Xbox. No way to tell if they’re on. Not gonna give a stranger your phone number to notify each other to get on, or to see if they’re online. Imagine having to boot up your system load everything up and come to find out no one is online. Kinda of a bummer, cause I like playing with friends. Makes it more fun. So if you can add that function that’d be amazing!!! ### 5/5 — |iPhone 10 1st edition| !EXCELLENT! *2019-12-06, version 2.0.3* App runs soothingly well speaking on behalf of having the app for close to an hour, (which I’ve been browsing in that time) I downloaded the app for MW not realizing that you could also access BO4.. I haven’t played BO4 in almost a year although I did get diamond on my SMGs.. it’s just refreshing to be able to go back and see my stats or especially my “create a class” weapon choices and and perks I had equipped at the time. I’m impressed with the app from any aspect I’ve seen so far. If either of these two games are your game of choice you wouldn’t want to pass up this incredible tool the Devs have provided us with. (: ### 4/5 — Awesome app, could be better *2022-04-27, version 3.0.5* I really like this app! However, I think it would be awesome if I could look at my progression on achievements. See how I’m coming with unlocking gold and Diamond camos. I also wish I could look at a more comprehensive review of my career statistics. See how many kills I have with what weapons. Furthermore, I would love to shop in the store and buy skins on the app and then claim them when I log in to the game next. Don’t get me wrong, the app is way cool and shows and offers great information, I just would like to see them expand on this already awesome app!! ### 4/5 — iOS update *2021-09-28, version 2.24.2* With the new iOS 15 update my app is saying it’s having a problem loading my info. Before it worked just fine, kept up to date stats and was fast loading. It always worked. Now I’d be lucky to load my profile. I love this app, it gives all the stats a nerd would love. Heat maps, intel, guides, career overall stats, it’s amazing. It even gives you an XP token once a week for free just by opening the app. I’ve racked up quite a bit just from that. Hope you can resolve this issue with loading, I can’t use it if it doesn’t load.
