### 2/5 — Ok…

*2026-08-17, version 1.4.3*

App seems to work ok, but I still keep receiving spam call and texts.
I will give it another month and if still getting spam, will delete the app.
If it works, then maybe I will upgrade.

### 2/5 — Blocked numbers?

*2026-07-21, version 1.4.3*

How can a blocked number call me? Ive had done more than once. I pay for a service to block spammers and scammers, but they still call me

### 3/5 — its like they're giving me the spam calls

*2026-07-13, version 1.4.3*

anytime i go into the app and update the caller list, i just so happen to coincidentally get calls from random numbers right after, even tho i didn't prior to updating it. not saying they're the ones doing it but i just find it weird

### 2/5 — Isn’t this supposed to block calls?

*2026-06-11, version 1.4.3*

So I’ve had this app for awhile. It’s so weird the lady 3 months the same spam call I block; continues to call. Sometimes I put phone numbers in and the number can’t be blocked using the app. I have the pro version and still only 12,000 calls have been blocked. The number of blocked calls doesn’t change so I’m confused how am o paying for an app that rarely works now ?

### 4/5 — Mr ErlBrock

This is a quite useful application!!!

### 3/5 — Wicked Awesome App!!!

*2026-04-02, version 1.4.3*

I LOVE Call Protect!!! I’ve been using the free version since 2017 it’s a powerful easy to use tool for taking back control of my phone. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone and everyone who are looking take back control of their phones and stop the madness of endless calls from unknown numbers, unwanted callers, and scam artist.

The free version is feature rich and ad free and does everything I need it to do..The ability to quickly and easily block individual numbers, number ranges, and white list contacts are the key reasons Call Protect rocks my phone.

Without hesitation, qualifiers, or caveats I can say Call Protect has proven itself to be an unobtrusive and indispensable tool to prevent unwanted calls and control access to me and my phone.

But …

As I’m obviously a huge fan I’d gladly subscribe for an enhanced version, though not at the current price level.

For me the $120 annual ($10 /mo) subscription cost is too much and it’s difficult for me to justify cost. Especially when I’m most likely not going to have a need for or use all the enhanced features of the Pro version.

>> Developer Suggestion <<

Perhaps adding a Standard Edition that sits between the free and pro version. Offering the Free, Standard (Pro or Pro Lite,) and an enhanced Pro (or Pro+) version is something to consider?

With the current economic environment that has me and many others pinching pennies and trying to squeeze 15 cents out of dime, both have become commonplace for many, $10 is a lot of moneys.

I’ll reiterate … I WANT TO PAY YOU … but not at the current cost. I’d gladly pay $3 /mo for a Standard (or Pro or Pro Lite version) with the ability to add more custom numbers and ranges than the free version — Or — maybe a price structure with nominal annual fee, say $25 along with a lower monthly subscription price, say $3.

That’s something I think would be a good deal and for sure sign up for.

B~

### 3/5 — Basic app

*2026-03-07, version 1.4.3*

Not sure it really does anything? I average almost 10 spam calls a day.

### 1/5 — Don’t work for me

*2026-02-12, version 1.4.3*

I already installed and activated one day ago and I’m still receiving 10 spam calls or more … and voicemails as well.

### 3/5 — It’s free!

*2026-02-03, version 1.4.3*

This app is what it says I’m liking it glad I gave this a try

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-01-21, version 1.4.3*

I have had this app for several years and have never been disappointed. It blocks and keeps those unwanted calls, those unwanted spam calls, and any other calls that are not in my contact list from getting through. Best thing ever.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not working

*2026-08-14, version 1.4.3*

Prefix blocking doesn't work. I was getting call even though the range of numbers where in blocking list.

### 1/5 — Unwanted calls

*2026-07-25, version 1.4.3*

I’m getting up to nine calls per hour multiple times a day. All for the same reason but the numbers look like local or anyplace in the state calls. I’m so tired of them! I have this app and it doesn’t filter them!

### 1/5 — Useless

### 1/5 — Was 5 stars

*2026-05-26, version 1.4.3*

The constant interference by full page ads is VERY ANNOYING. I am not going to upgrade to the paid version EVER. My iPhone now has call blocking and also separates messages from known users and unknown users. I don’t have time for the unknown user so I just delete them without reading them. I have Ducduckgo and they provide most of the services that you provide WITHOUT ANY ADS. So don’t think that putting full page advertisements over the results will in ANY WAY cause me to do anything but delete your app.
BY THE WAY IF YOU GAVE FULL NAMES TO YOUR ANSWERS AS TO WHO WAS CALLING I COULD BE PERSUADED TO PAY FOR YOUR SERVICE BUT JUST THE NAME OF THE CITY IS NOT WORTH PAYING YOU TO GET.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2026-05-13, version 1.4.3*

No customer support. I enter numbers to look up and they shake. I can block numbers on my phone, plus there is no spam call blocker. I think this app is spam

### 1/5 — DO NOT BUY!!!!

*2026-05-06, version 1.4.3*

WARNING! You will be charged for 1 year of service during your trial period. Approx. $119. O0 plus a monthly fee also during the trial period for PRO level. When I called to inquire, I was rudely hung up on. I called back, had everything canceled! Plus, while it was supposed to be “active, my subscription was not even blocking spam calls from the first day! Good luck!

### 1/5 — I’ll update when it it actually blocks a call

*2026-03-21, version 1.4.3*

Haven’t seen it block one call yet

### 1/5 — Nothings changed

*2026-02-18, version 1.4.3*

Still getting more spam calls

### 1/5 — No call blocking at all.

*2026-02-16, version 1.4.3*

Absolutely NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!! What they call “Basic”, is absolutely no different from not answering the phone and letting it go to voice mail. No spam blocking, no caller id. Nothing. I’m deleting this bs.

### 5/5 — Great application

### 5/5 — Good addition to built-in iOS phone spam management

*2026-06-25, version 1.4.3*

I use Call Protect to block ranges of phone numbers that turned out to be spammers. iOS now allows you to send unidentified and known spam to a separate folder where you can choose whether or not to be notified.
Unfortunately, iOS only lets you block individual numbers. I don't know how effective Call Block is for spam call blocking, but I do know it works well for blocking number ranges.
You can also choose to whitelist your contacts if you want.
When I blocked a number range calls, calls with those numbers are automatically sent to voicemail, and your phone does not ring or notify you (unless you have whitelisted your contacts or a specific number in the blocked range).
It has a very simple Interface even offers reverse phone look up. It's free with no annoying ads. All that is five stars for me.
