doesn’t actually block numbers. apparently no apps in the app store currently can really block apps, but there are others that can at least get rid of all the spam voicemails. save your $5, i wasted mine on what feels like the equivalent of those old flashlight apps that were just a white screen

I read your response and to be quite honest, your response was so scripted. You obviously didn’t read correctly. I had done all that remove from backup disabled etc. 
also, doing any of that doesn’t reclaim your space back. You started to tell how to reclaim space but then go on a tangent and discuss removing backup and disable app. Yeah you go ahead and try that and then come back and educate us. 

As stated, no backup, no app, run overnight maintenance and even double checked nothing in messenger relating to call ranger . System data still 52gb. I reinstall call ranger , no backup turned on yet, POOF! My rules are back. Explain. 

As for using in app support? What a novel idea. Done that a few times nothing but crickets. I use email that one of you responded with, nothing but crickets. And yeah nothing in junk mail either.

Don’t get me wrong, the product idea is sound if worked properly.

System Data is now 53gb!!! 

Folks, you need to understand that when you add a range of numbers to Call Ranger, it eats up more and more of your system data area. Eventually you will need to do a FULL RESET of your phone in order to reclaim that space back. It’s not any fun doing that believe me.

You folks at Call Ranger should pay me for my time trying to fix your buggy app. It’s been like groundhog day. You can’t even remove this app’s hooks into IOS. 

Delete rules, repair, reload app, POOF! Rules are back. 

Delete rules, Delete app, make sure nothing is backed up. Delete backup, create backup, Reboot, night maintenance, road app, POOF! Rules are back. Are you kidding me? 

WTF are you people hiding these rules? 

So now a week into not hearing from any support. I standby my first comments. You only respond when someone has something nice to say but anyone with criticism or problems you conveniently mute up.

Lack of any support. WARNING! This app will eat up most if not all of your system data partition. The only way to recover that space  per Apple is to do a full reset of your iphone. Running iPhone 16 on IOS 26.5 . I was running IOS 18.7 and didn’t want to upgrade IOS but eventually updated. It’s only now I found the culprit Call Ranger. Wish I had known prior

Para bloquear um DDD por exemplo 27 ele se apresenta também como 027 e o aplicativo não permite este bloqueio.

Para bloquear o DDD 27, crie a regra no formato internacional com o código do país: +55-27-####-#### para números que aparecem como +55. 
Se precisar de ajuda para configurar corretamente, entre em contato com o suporte pelo aplicativo enviando exemplos dos números que estão passando.

Have used other products, Robo, simple Call Blocker. Call Ranger is simple to use and works! Like the fact that it’s only $4.99 one time fee! Only suggestion from improvement is to put some sort of counter next to each blocked string. There’s a certain level of satisfaction knowing how many spamming calls you’ve not had to listen to or see.

### 3/5 — Not quite a blocker but silencer

They advertise blocking but blocking a number means when they call you they will get a user is unavailable error. Real blocks cannot get to voicemail. All this app does is silence calls that are in your rules. So you will still get daily voicemails and recent calls, but it does make it not quite as annoying. I’d call it a mass silencer though not blocker.

Blocked calls appearing in call history is the default iOS behavior on the latest iOS versions. Multiple developers and customers have already requested for a potential change on this behavior (so calls won't display any notifications at all). Unfortunately, there's not any app available on the App Store that can completely hide calls from Recents. 

About voicemails, since blocking happens on the phone and not at the carrier/network level, your carrier still routes unanswered calls to voicemail. When someone calls you, the call first goes through your carrier's network before it reaches your phone. The app blocks the call once it arrives at your device, but by that point your carrier has already handled the call. When the carrier sees that your phone didn't answer, it automatically sends the caller to voicemail, this happens on the carrier side. This is a system limitation no app can bypass. What you can do is to contact your carrier for voicemail blocking options.

I rarely purchase apps without a free trial, and I've been scammed before. That said, I took a calculated risk and I do NOT regret it 🥹. I'm really impressed with this app. Your phone will still show a notification if someone leaves a voice message and you have that setting on, but you won’t get the constant ringing from spam numbers— HUGE RELIEF! 

Timely— I’ve heard that iOS 27 may limit how many contacts you can block, so this app is especially useful. 

I’m very happy with it, think it’s worth it, and appreciate the developer for easing our minds about spam calls. Thanks team!! 🫡🥹

We are really glad Call Ranger delivered exactly what it promises and that you no longer have to deal with constant ringing from spam numbers, while still staying reachable for what matters.

Regarding iOS 27 limiting blocked contacts, Call Ranger won’t be affected as it uses a completely different blocking system than contacts blocking, so there are no limits on how many numbers you can block.

This is excellent and very clean and to the point. None of the AI answering mess and call forwarding needed. 

It would be nice to have the ability to block specific numbers as well make it an all in one blocking app.

This app has save my sanity. I entered my cell service office ready for a fight! They just said that there was nothing they could do! As many as 15(truth) spam calls a day had finally made me block all calls except from my family and friends. No more appointment reminders…nothing! Then I found this app and blocked the entire 571 area code where 90 percent of the spam calls originated and “poof”! Goodbye spam! Now I block the occasional spam calls from the rest of the world. Thank you so much to whoever wrote this program!

例如，要屏蔽区号010（北京）的号码，设置规则为：国家代码 +86，然后输入 010XXXXXXXX，选择相应的位数范围。

载入规则会让手机系统数据直接爆了，根本删不了，大家千万不要用，客服根本不管你

**Developer response:** 占用的空间是 iOS 系统本身存储被拦截号码的地方，因此显示为"系统数据"。占用大小取决于您设置的范围：位数较少的定向规则占用很小；只有将范围扩大到极致（例如一次拦截多个国家的号码）才会占用大量空间，因为系统必须逐个存储该范围内的每一个号码。正常使用下占用很小。
删除完全在 App 内即可完成：点击"全部删除 / 清空"按钮，即可清除您的所有规则。之后 iOS 会自行逐步释放这部分"系统数据"，通常需要几天时间（建议将手机接上充电器并锁定放置一晚）。

Ich hatte versucht alle Anrufe aus einem bestimmten Land mit 9 bis Ziffern abweisen zu lassen. Ich konnte es einstellen, aber die Anrufe kommen trotzdem durch.

Versucht eine Regel hinzufügen, dauerte immens lange und mein Handy wurde heiß. Nicht mehr als 2% nach gut 20 Minuten, habe abgebrochen. Hochgerechnet mehr als 16 Stunden für ein Zehntel einer Auslandsvorwahl geblockt, dauert mir zu lange. Wäre nett zu wissen, wie lange es dauert, damit man abschätzen kann, ob es ok ist oder nicht, was auf dem Handy gerade passiert. Mein Handy ist das aktuelle iPhone. Will nicht wissen, wie lange es mit einem älteren Modell dauert. Habe die App gelöscht.

**Developer response:** Die Verarbeitungszeit hängt von der Komplexität der Regel ab. Regeln mit mehr als 8 Stellen generieren Millionen von Nummernkombinationen, was selbst auf neueren Geräten Zeit benötigt.

Ihr Vorschlag bezüglich einer Fortschrittsanzeige ist sehr wertvoll und wird für zukünftige Updates berücksichtigt.

Wir empfehlen, präzisere Regeln mit einem kleineren Nummernbereich zu erstellen, anstatt eine gesamte Landesvorwahl auf einmal zu blockieren. Dies reduziert die Verarbeitungszeit erheblich.

方法1:从最近通话快速拦截
1. 点击0755来电旁边的"i"按钮
2. 选择"共享联系人"
3. 选择"拦截相似号码"
4. 选择要拦截的位数(最多可拦截12位数!)

方法2:从应用内拦截
1. 打开Call Ranger并进入设置
2. 设置拦截规则,然后点击+符号
3. 在第一个弹窗中,添加国家代码 86
4. 点击下一步
5. 在第二个弹窗中,输入不含国家代码的电话号码,例如: 75512345678 (注意:使用国际格式时,区号前不加0)
6. 点击下一步
7. 选择要拦截的号码范围

Never thought there would be a way to stop spam callers. I was at my wits end so I tried Call Ranger. Bam! Peace on my phone! Very customizable and easy to set up for a non techie. The price was a bargain considering what it accomplished.
