## What is Call Ranger?

### 5/5 — Top 👍

*2026-10-23*

### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed

*2026-10-22, version 8.3.0*

This app is exactly what I needed to get relief from the insane number of spam calls I’d receive. I’d receive about 50 calls a day from similar area codes. My number was part of a huge data leak and I was one day away from changing my number. I got on Reddit and someone recommended call ranger. I was very helpless and not optimistic it would work. Every other app requires you to block each number, but there was no way I could do that because it was area code based and a different number every time. This app has made my life significantly better and it was incredible it was so affordable.

### 4/5 — Working and actively blocking calls

*2026-10-20*

20/10/26
Edit: Its working for numbers never saved on my device but not working for numbers I recently deleted. You can purchase the app.

19/10/26
Don’t purchase this app.
This app is a scam.
I purchased it and it is even not able to block a a single number.
I cleared all my recent call list.
Also deleted the contact from my phone but still it is not able to block that number.
Truly pathetic.
I repeat again “DO NOT PURCHASE”

**Developer response:** Thank you for updating your review! Numbers that were recently deleted from your contacts may still be recognized by iOS for a while. Please also delete any messages and calls with those numbers, then restart your iPhone, and they should be blocked as expected.

If you need any help, reach out through support in the app.

### 5/5 — Exactly What I was Looking For

*2026-10-19, version 8.2.2*

I have been getting multiple calls/texts from various Ohio numbers that seem to think my number belongs to a Rick. With this app I have been able to block each and every area code from these annoying calls/texts. Many thanks to the developer!

### 5/5 — Laurie

*2026-10-11*

A really cool app. So sick of scammers using blocks of hundreds of numbers from fake countries they dont even live in. This app fixed em right up😎

**Developer response:** Thank you for the 5-star review! Stopping scammers who hide behind large blocks of numbers is exactly what Call Ranger was designed for. We’re happy to hear your phone is finally free from them.

Thanks for sharing your experience!

### 5/5 — Very good blocker!

*2026-10-09, version 8.2.0*

I love this range blocker, it’s easy to use and very effective. I started out blocking entire area codes but found that a bit challenging at first as I was adding large ranges too fast and I ran my phone out of space and froze. I didn’t realize I was at 98% and that was the issue. I cleared out 50Gb of old videos and it runs perfectly. CallRanger support is top notch and they have been really helpful. Look forward to future updates. Get it, you’ll like it.
Update 10/9/26: The frequency of updates is amazing. The new addition of remembering the last country code makes adding smaller ranges a breeze. Love it!

### 5/5 — Works very well!

*2026-10-03, version 8.1.0*

Support is very responsive and helpful. The app works very well. Recommend it to anyone getting inundated with election spam.

### 4/5 — Works but slow

*2026-09-30*

I do landed this app to choose countries. I wanted to block because I always receive spam calls. It works, but when you try to block whole numbers from a account, it takes hours to complete to block.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the 4-star review! Blocking an entire country is one of the largest rules you can create, so it naturally takes longer to process than smaller ranges. Once it's complete, though, every call from that country is blocked for good.

For faster results, you can target the specific ranges spammers use instead of the whole country. We appreciate your feedback and are glad Call Ranger is keeping those spam calls away.
