I still have the tapes but nothing to play it on any more 😅A few months ago I just got an idea to search for it in the app store and I was sooo happy to find that callanetics are not forgotten, but evolved and renewed even. Always my go to when I need to get strong quickly. They really lift and power up my body. I am so glad I still have a way to do these. When I was searching for a workout to do at home, as I am a caretaker, I was delighted to revist what is, in my opinion, the best workout for a slim toned body. I am constantly asked how I got the abs I have. Overall this is the best workout, deceptively hard, for stress as well because you are encouraged to relax. I can’t say enough about it. I’ve never been so bored in my life! The stupid pulses hurt too. Paid for my 2nd month and suddenly everything is on lock down - even though I’m supposed to be getting access to all items. Not happy. Because of these issues, the downloaded content can’t be used offline even during the subscription period! When it works: there is no way to navigate within a video, not even 10sec jumps as in other video players. They are helping me re-sculpt my body as I am getting close to 50. Truly miracle working! Better Posture, flexibility, strength and also I notice less cellulite. I was 23, along with my 2 elder sisters (33 and 35) and our mother who was an avid exerciser at 60. Home workouts on videotape was new and we must have worn out a dozen tapes among us. We compared how much our butts were lifting and the compliments were flying! I’m curious why this program is almost non existent in the states today. Could it be because there is no equipment necessary? Tracked down the DVDs and eventually paid for full access to the app. It is worth its weight in gold! All the workouts, including the OG (10 in 10) which is the BEST workout ever! Do these exercises every day or every other day and people will start asking what you've been doing. I came back to this at 67 because I remembered how effective this form of exercise is for my back. It also has strengthened my pelvic floor with the deep tissue work which has ended my ‘leaking’ for the most part.
