## What is CalledUp?

Run your team like a pro, even if you're a volunteer dad coaching for the first time.

CalledUp (https://calledup.app) is the all-in-one app built specifically for Little League and recreational baseball. Schedule games and practices, message your team, track stats, manage rosters, and stay on top of pitch counts, all from your phone. No more group texts that spiral out of control. No more clipboards. No more missing after game snacks.

Built for the way baseball actually works
Whether you're a head coach trying to balance playing time, a league administrator juggling 40 teams across 6 divisions, or a parent who just wants to know what time pickup is on Saturday, CalledUp keeps everyone on the same page.

For Coaches
* Smart practice plans tailored to your team's age group, focus area, and time slot
* Auto-balanced lineups that track innings and positions across the season
* Real-time pitch count tracking with rest-day enforcement built in
* Digital scorebook with full stats, spray charts, and play-by-play
* One-tap availability checks so you know who's showing up

For Families
* Calendar sync to iPhone Calendar, Google, or Outlook
* Photos, RSVPs, and team chat in one place
* Player profiles your kid can actually share with grandparents

Why coaches are switching to CalledUp
Most baseball apps were built for travel ball or high school programs. CalledUp is built for the volunteer running a team after work, the league president keeping things together over email, and the parent who just wants their weekend organized. Less tapping, more baseball.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.1 — 2026-06-30

This update brings a smoother game-day experience:

  - See stats for all players when choosing Player of the Game
  - Upcoming games now stick around until 2 hours after start time
  - Fixed inning run totals in the play-by-play line score

### 1.5.0 — 2026-06-23

What's New in 1.5.0

Track games anywhere, even when the field has no signal:

Offline game tracking: every play you tap is now saved on your phone first, then synced when you're back online. Drop to one bar behind the dugout and nothing gets lost. A small banner shows when plays are still waiting to sync and clears once they're up.

We also smoothed out a couple of things:
  - New games and practices start with your team's usual time and number of innings.
  - The tracker credits an RBI when you wave a runner home on a hit.

Thanks for coaching with CalledUp. Keep the feedback coming.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-05-29

* You can now edit the score during a game. Tap the gear icon while tracking and choose Edit Score to bump either team's runs up or down by inning. Made a mistake? Undo has you covered.
* Fixed the batting order in the game tracker and lineup views. The lead-off hitter shows as #1 again, and everyone lands in the right spot.
* The Manage Lineup button no longer vanishes on game day.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-05-27

Smarter Lineup Editor
The lineup editor now picks up your team's default innings and field size automatically, no more adjusting settings every time. You can also switch between 9, 10, or 11 players in the field right from the lineup screen using the new segmented picker.

Alphabetical RSVP Lists
Players in each RSVP group (Going / Not Going / Maybe) are now sorted alphabetically by name, making it easier to scan who's available at a glance.

### 1.0 — 2026-05-27
