Wenn man langsam malt, ist der Strich sehr dünn und bei schnellem malen wird der Strich dick. An sich sollte es genau umgekehrt sein (wenn man mit Wasser, oder Tusche malt). I practice Japanese calligraphy. But due to my disability, I sometimes cannot practice calligraphy with a traditional brush and paper. These times, I get really stressed with no way of relieving it. However, I found this app during a time of great stress, and to my delight, it reproduces brush strokes really well! The blank canvas with the three different brush sizes lets me express what I need to express in an easy, accessible manner. The difficulty for beginners is when doing Sumi e with physical ink and paper, you can get frustrated and disheartened quite quickly. This app is perfect for practice of calming the mind. I’m sure a Sumi e master artist would be horrified at the representation of the brush strokes but the digital world can never compete with the physical. The app is absolutely worth it. Really has made my journey into calligraphy and sumi e painting so much more fun. All the other paint apps have this so it shouldn't be too difficult. It is limited without this capacity as I am stopped from further evolving images but keping earlier ones.
