However the app is really hard to navigate, crashes often and is very slow. The support is ok but sometimes it takes multiples emails to have someone respond. ### 2/5 — App needs updating: Crashing *2022-12-21* Lovely calligraphy magazine app with the mags slightly pricey for a digital issue ($15). Usually one gets a break on the price with digital formats. The content is good and I like the video inclusions. Lately the past week each and every time I try and open the app it crashes. I have the newest iOS and I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro max and I’ve restarted my phone, deleted the app and reinstalled to no avail. So I’m happy I didn’t pull the trigger on a subscription because I would be unable to view any of my issues. This needs to be addressed before I’ll pay $$$ for a subscription. Joan ### 3/5 — Awesome content if you can get it to download *2022-03-11* I was quite excited about this magazine. I paid for the subscription and back issues. Couldn’t get them to download. Contacted the company and had to wait for a return email and jump through hoops online which didn’t work. They then sent me a link to download issues to my iPad. Months later I tried to buy and read additional back issues and have the same problem. It’s incredibly annoying to have to send an email and wait and then have to download separately using an emailed link. Would really appreciate it if your could figure out the issues and make this app work properly with each purchase of back issues. ### 5/5 — Wonderful Resource! *2021-07-05* I really enjoy the articles and feel they aren’t just fluff pieces but have content that is really helpful. I purchased and able to read the issues from Safari but never could make the app to work on my iPad. So disappointed that the app still crashes instantly. So annoyed I paid a year’s subscription and I still see nothing. I loved the magazine before so I held off for over six months in the hope that with some upgrade the problem will be resolved and I’ll be able to access the content I’ve paid for. But nope. The contributors, selection of articles and tutorials makes me want to grab my pens and letter the world! It sends me down new rabbit holes with each issue- gilding, wedding ideas, engraving. There aren’t enough hours in the day to explore all of the ideas proposed.
