Not to mention all the hoops they have you jump through to get care, get medication refills, or get tests ordered! And most of their apps and platforms aren’t even useful- it takes days to get replies, then half the time it’s “I’m not ordering anything unless you come into the office.” With CallOnDoc, when I developed an ear infection just before a snowstorm hit, I was able to get medication within four hours! They’ve also helped me manage my blood pressure and weight. The cost is so reasonable, and their follow up is fantastic. I like that they can order labs too. So happy!! I get frequent sinus infections and it’s a great way to quickly get an antibiotic. ### 5/5 — Underrated! *2026-08-01* After some quick research when I had an insane migraine, I decided to try this app because I didn’t want to do a video call due to light sensitivity. I was able to quickly fill out the questionnaire and get a prescription sent over from a real dr to my local pharmacy within an hour! I did it on my phone in my bed with the lights off, and there was no back and forth banter it was really hassle free. I have insurance but payed out of pocket for this and it was only $40. The medication was only $5 as well without insurance. This service is amazing and I definitely will use it again when I’m sick, no more will I be going to a walk in clinic. I literally did everything in like 10 minutes, took a nap, then my pharmacy texted me my prescription was ready. If you’re a busy person or don’t want to deal with talking to people and know your exact issue then this is for you. **Developer response:** Thank you for the 5 stars! It started with a toothache while away on vacation and they have since even helped me change my entire life losing 80 pounds in a year managing and prescribing a GLP1! I live in a small town and there are early closing hours for pharmacy, and it takes 2 to 3 weeks to even make his doctors appointment that I have to drive to if I’m able to get off of work to finally make it to the appointment. This is the best easiest healthcare up to use and the expectations set for. Also refills on prescriptions. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Be warned they may suddenly not refill a med they have refilled 6 times in the past! *2026-08-23* I recently submitted a refill request for a med that I have been on for 14 years and Call on Doc has refilled for me 6 times in the past. A provider by the name of “Whitney G” refused to refill my med saying it can’t be managed online. If that’s true then why has this service refilled it 6 times for me?? It’s not controlled and it does not require lab monitoring. My condition is stable and my dose has remained the same since I started this medication 14 years ago! Anyway, not to worry I went to another telehealth service called “General Medicine” who also does text visits and they refilled my med no issue at all. Oh..did I mention I’m also a registered nurse so I know this medication can be managed online?? General Medicine is also cheaper! $30 for a text visit compared to almost $100 for Call on Doc. The script that I had erroneously assumed was already a 90 day supply. Refilling a script should not be this difficult. I have subscribed to this service partly because I wanted convenience and it has not been convenient. I have become frustrated. The app Jammed up several times and subscribing was far more complicated than I would have hoped I still don’t know if my refill will go through. I imagine I’ll have to answer 4 more messages. Every time I need a refill, their system puts me through a 10 to 15 minute rehash of everything that I’ve enter before. The problem I’m having is I go through this process and I get to the very last page where it’s pharmacy, but I want Lilly Direct mail order. The problem is they don’t offer it as an option to complete your order request. And when I tried to pick a local pharmacy, which I know there are six in my town, None of them show up. So I have to pick a pharmacy and then I have to send a message that says I’ve picked a local pharmacy, but I want. Hoping, that the messages received and acted upon as needed. Until they get this problem fixed, I will provide a one star review every month. I’ve used it a few times now. I’ve had relatives visiting from out of town and I’ve referred them to call on doc instead of using urgent care for simple simple things and they really help them for 4999 without having to use insurance it’s it’s a no-brainer. They are right on the money if we need them we can always talk to them instead of just sending the prescription into our pharmacy, we can actually talk to somebody. I mean it is a great service.
