### 2/5 — inaccurate information

*2026-07-24, version 2026.6*

A lot of movies show up as TV shows like Rooney Mara was in a movie called Mary Magdalene, but it's listed as a 60 episode TV show. It's really odd

### 5/5 — Movie and TV info, easy

*2026-06-13, version 2026.4*

Easy. Useful. No ads. No micro-transactions.

### 5/5 — Best app to feature in an Apple rap video

*2026-06-11*

Great app. Imagine IMDB but without the junk. How old was Sean Connery when the Hunt for Red October was made? Callsheet has the answer.

### 5/5 — Obviously built for people who love movies

*2026-06-11, version 2026.4*

So responsive, so delightful. Just a sample of the many niceties: it tells you the age of the actor at the time of making the show! Little details like that make this app indispensable.

### 5/5 — WWDC26 Video

*2026-06-08, version 2026.4*

This app was featured in the WWDC2026 music video at the end of the keynote. This is epic because it’s a great app, and I love it. It makes finding info for and tracking shows you want to watch convenient. You rock Casey!!

### 5/5 — Please add the ability to add titles to lists like : “to watch” and “watched”

*2026-06-03, version 2026.4*

Love how fast the app is!

### 5/5 — Amazing support

*2026-05-26, version 2026.4*

Had a question on the newest iteration. Got an answer back almost instantaneously. Big fan of this app.

### 5/5 — Sure is a great app

*2026-05-11, version 2026.4*

What if IMDB cared.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-04-22, version 2026.3*

This is one of the most useful apps I have ever used. It works exactly as described.

### 5/5 — The app I didn’t know I needed

*2026-04-18, version 2026.3*

I’m not a big TV or movie buff at all. However, I downloaded Callsheet when it came out, and started playing around with it. Once I got used to looking up at an actor or a TV show while my wife and I were watching something, I found it indispensable, even given that I don’t watch very much TV, when I want to find out who a particular actor is, what else they’ve been in, where I can watch a show, or when a show came out, how old someone is, etc. Callsheet is by far the easiest way to do that. Go ahead, try using the alternatives. They suck. This app is well made, very solid, and it keeps getting better.

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2026-04-18*

See an actor and wonder what else they are in? Look no further than Callsheet. It has an extensive search function.

### 5/5 — Tell your friends!

*2026-04-10*

Callsheet is so much better than the IMDB app could ever be, and keeps getting better. Nice job Casey and thanks for the great support you’ve given.

### 5/5 — Creator loves libraries

*2026-02-24, version 2026.2*

Loves them books

### 5/5 — Excellent and fast

*2026-02-24, version 2026.2*

This app is quick and much better compared to IMDb. Reasonable pricing makes this a no-brainer over the ad-infested mess that other apps are.

### 5/5 — It’s like finding paradise after wandering the wasteland

*2026-02-23*

This app was an instant subscribe. Why you ask? Because it’s clear the developer doesn’t hate his users, and in fact might actually want them to have a great experience, unlike the developers of some other Insufferable Massive DataBase. No garbage “SIGN UP NOW AND ALLOW ALL THE ANNOYING NOTIFICATIONS” interruptions, amazingly considerate features like being able to see the ages of the actors when they made the movie and how old they are now, and easy integrations with services like Just Watch so I can find out how to watch what I want to. If you watch content, and you ever go “where have I seen that person before?” even ONCE in your life, downloading this app is worth it.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-02-23, version 2026.2*

I use it all the time. If you watch TV you need this app. I especially admire Casey’s dedicated support of libraries.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Vibe coded low effort TMDB wrapper

*2026-06-07, version 2026.4*

He couldn’t even figure out how to write an AppIntent without using Claude. Stay away from this vibe coded app.

### 1/5 — Developer is a vibe coder

*2026-03-13, version 2026.2*

He couldn’t even figure out how to write an AppIntent without using Claude. Stay away from this vibe coded app.

### 1/5 — this app loads slowly

*2026-02-23, version 2026.2*

also the creator reports and deletes reviews and steals from libraries

### 1/5 — Birds of a feather

*2026-02-23, version 2026.2*

This developer’s friend employs illegals at his Fire Island Restaurant. We’ve made numerous ICE reports; eventually one will get someone’s attention.

### 1/5 — steals from libraries

*2026-01-17, version 2025.10*

creator of this app steals from
libraries

### 1/5 — Apple tv

*2025-12-26, version 2025.10*

Why this app doesn’t work on apple tv

### 1/5 — **PAID**$ubscription Required!!!

*2025-10-10, version 2025.8*

"Call sheet" is a dumbed down, clunky, ugly, unintuitive, IMDB with a paid subscription required to search. Ugly, clunky design

### 1/5 — No Liquid Glass, in fact last update was 3 months ago.

*2025-09-25, version 2025.7*

Developers want more and more (understandably) but don’t keep up with timely updates.

### 1/5 — Was great but now no good

*2025-04-19, version 2025.3*

This was a great app which was easy to use and informative, but has just stopped working. I was happy to pay the subscription, but I’ve now cancelled it due to its failure.

### 1/5 — Terrible app from terrible dev

*2025-04-11, version 2025.3*

What an arrogant dev. I can't wait for someone to copy this. I'm sure their app will be less buggy

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fantastic app, delivers exactly the info I want, with zero grossness

*2026-07-23*

I used to use IMDB’s app which is fine but not well-designed, things I regularly want are hard to find, lots of little frustrations.
You can really tell this app scratches the author’s itch, each detail and feature is well thought-out, and it’s a pleasure to use.
I’ve long since deleted IMDB.

### 5/5 — Stunningly good!

*2026-07-20, version 2026.6*

Things I especially love about the app:

1. No ads!!
2. Uncredited cast members are included!
3. Actors’ ages at time of filming are included!
4. Actual release notes are included, vs. generic “bug fixes and improvements”!!

Clearly a labour of love, always being improved upon. Love it!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-07-18, version 2026.5*

So fast and informative. I use Callsheet all the time. Helps me discover new things my favorite actors have done, even when they have credits from other countries and languages.

### 5/5 — The Essential Viewing Companion

*2026-07-05, version 2026.5*

This is a must-have app for any avid media consumer. Fast, clean, customizable to avoid spoilers—there’s no better way to look up details about the movie, episode, actor, crew for a piece of media than this.

### 5/5 — New Plex integration

*2026-07-04, version 2026.5*

I’m loving the new active Plex integration!

### 5/5 — Makes movies and TV better for me.

*2026-06-29, version 2026.5*

I love that Callsheet lets me quickly look up actors without spoiling things for me, and lets me pin things. I use the pins to schedule things to watch in the future, and the quickly access shows that I’m in a ongoing re-watch of to look up the guest stars.

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

*2026-06-27*

Callsheet is an absolute joy to use and a must-have for any film and TV enthusiast. It’s beautifully designed, fast, and makes looking up cast and crew details a genuine pleasure. A brilliant, no-nonsense alternative to IMDb that respects your time and attention. The developer has done a fantastic job here, so thank you!

### 5/5 — Great app, so much better than browsing IMDB

*2026-06-27*

To get information about the movies & TV shows I watch I have had to search through Wikipedia pages for the material I want to see or worse yet, through the IMDB website.

This app brings all the info I want right to my screen. It is quick and I can pin the content I am actively watching to minimize searching until I am done with it.

The developer continues to add features to the app and is quite responsive to questions.

### 5/5 — Essential reference guide

*2026-06-24, version 2026.5*

With the best UX

### 5/5 — Always Improving

*2026-06-20*

It’s quick, it’s a clean design (no ads) and navigation makes sense.
The only request would be more photos of actors (for each show) so I can more quickly determine if I have found the right one.
