## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.19.050 — 2026-09-07

EASIER SIGN-UP

• The verification email now arrives in your language and from callshot.live, not from a generic sender. Tapping the link activates your account on its own: no more confirming again in the browser.
• If the email domain looks misspelled (.con instead of .com, gmial instead of gmail), the app offers the correction before creating the account. It does not block you: if your address is right, you carry on.
• Fixed a bug when signing up twice in a row, which is what you do after mistyping your email: the second account was never fully created.

TARGET SCANNING

• Finds shots landing ON a printed ring line. The scanner used to erase a band around each ring to get the line out of the way, and it erased the hole touching it too. That matters: a shot touching a line scores the ring above.
• No longer discards shots for where they land. A rule used to delete, as a block, detections sitting on the target's printed numerals — and real shots land there. Now it flags them with a dashed ring and a button walks you through them.
• Corrects foreshortening. If you photograph the target off-axis the rings come out distorted and shots near the centre climbed a ring they had not earned.
• Markers are drawn on the hole, and touching one no longer changes its score.
• If it cannot trust the scale, it says so and offers manual calibration instead of a false score.
• It uses your firearm's actual calibre for the "touching the line scores the higher ring" rule.

ALSO

• The coaching report now works on mobile. It had never worked on iOS or Android.
• The app now shows as available in Spanish on the App Store.

### 1.19.020 — 2026-09-05

The app now shows as available in Spanish on the App Store. No changes to how it works.

COACHING REPORT — FIXED

If you ever tried to generate the coaching report on your phone and got an error, it was not your doing: on iOS and Android it had never worked. The app was asking an old server that no longer offers that function. It now works just like on the web.

TARGET SCANNING — A THOROUGH OVERHAUL

This release carries several weeks of work on the target scanner, nearly all of it measured against real targets:

• It finds shots landing ON a printed ring line. The scanner used to erase a band around each ring to get the line out of the way, and it erased the hole touching it too. That matters more than it sounds: a shot touching a line scores the ring above.

• It no longer discards shots for where they land. A rule used to delete, as a block, detections sitting on the target's printed numerals — and real shots land there. Now it flags them with a dashed ring and a button walks you through them, so you decide.

• It corrects foreshortening. If you photograph the target slightly off-axis the rings come out distorted; until now they were measured with a single scale and shots near the centre climbed a ring they had not earned.

• Markers are drawn on the hole, not beside it. And if you add or drag a shot, the score you get is the same one the scanner computed, to the millimetre.

• If it cannot trust the scale, it says so and offers manual calibration instead of handing you a plausible but wrong score.

• It uses your firearm's actual calibre for the "touching the line scores the higher ring" rule. It used to assume a .22 on every 25 m target.

• Better detection in difficult light, and on targets where the hole looks darker than the paper.

ALSO

• When signing up, the app warns you if the email domain looks misspelled (.con instead of .com, gmial instead of gmail). It does not block you: you decide.
• Fixed Home saying "No sessions" when you had sessions, after deleting every session of one discipline.
• Asking the regulations AI from mobile now uses the same server as the web.

### v1.18.910 — 2026-08-19

• 25 m target scanning is far more reliable: it finds 9 out of 10 hits where it
used to miss one in three, placing each within 2.4 mm.
• Fixed the scanning scale: millimetres came out about 38% too large because the
black zone edge was mistaken for a printed ring line, pushing hits outwards
  and lowering scores.
• Fixed the official dimensions of every target. On 10 m air every ring was
0.75 mm smaller than the real one; the inner ten on 25 m targets was half its
real size, so many X hits were recorded as ordinary tens; and the rapid fire,
F-Class and Bench Rest targets had assumed ring sizes.
• 25 m Standard Pistol, rapid stage: the rapid fire target is now shown to place
hits, instead of the precision one.
• 10 m air: hits landing outside the black zone are detected for the first time.
• If the target cannot be measured reliably the app says so and offers manual
calibration instead of passing off an invented score. Manual adjustment now
  reaches 1.70×.
• Tilted photos are corrected rather than rejected.
• Scanned targets: per-series metrics are gone — they meant nothing — replaced by
the hit distribution by ring with percentages and running totals.
• Heat map and session card: pinch to zoom in and out, and the whole target is
framed when there are hits far from centre.
• Session data export now works for manual and scanned sessions too.

### v1.18.780 — 2026-08-14

• Much more accurate 25 m target scanning: fewer false positives, better detection of grouped shots, line breakers and hits in the white zone
• Magnifier when placing shots by hand
• Heat map: new "Evolution" view with per-period mini-targets, zone breakdown and mean radius over time
• Dry-fire training: a true 100% dry routine (natural point of aim, hold, trigger)
• "Rate CallShot" button in Profile
