### 5/5 — Good

*2020-09-23*

If you are thinking that this is a magical app by using which you will overnight become a person with determination, discipline and sheer will like John Wick, well let me tell you right now, it is not going to happen. I know this because even I thought that at first. But If you are tired of wasting your time on mobile games and are looking for an app that will genuinely help you grow and become a better person, you should definitely give Joyscore a try. The app will assist you as to how you should utilize your time. It will teach you good habits like meditation and will also help you in clearing your mind of otherworldly problems.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2020-09-23*

Everything about this app is unique whether it’s the user interface or the quality of content in the form of audio notes or the interesting and engaging tasks. Even the notifications of this app are unique. I have used a lot of fitness and self care apps in the past. Whenever I would feel like not using them, they would send me a notification but the language of it was very robotic and unauthentic. But Joyscore sends me motivational quotes that uplift my mood and make me want to open the app. Just yesterday, I got a super cool quote from the Baseball legend, Babe Ruth.

### 5/5 — Good app for my iphone

*2020-09-23*

I adore exploring new self-care tasks. I have had anxiety for a couple of years, so I have tried plenty of meditation and exercise. But get this, the app gives you binaural beats and even asks that you take cold showers and have tea! The tasks are simple, effective, engaging, and most importantly enjoyable! I believe that the tasks are the soul of self-care apps, and joyscore has nailed it down pretty well. The tasks are as short as a couple of seconds to over half-hour, but the app makes sure it doesn’t assign tasks over the time limit input by you. The app has a whole bunch of such features which gives users the ammunition to take control of their self-care routine. Joyscore is a piece of gem!

### 5/5 — Very good

*2020-09-23*

A cousin suggested that I use this app, but I have to say I have never like experimenting with new apps. But my cousin swore it works, so I went ahead and downloaded the app. But man was I wrong! The mood tracker is only the tip of the iceberg, their yoga sessions, desk exercises, and several other tasks are pretty amazing. I always made an excuse that I couldn’t work out because I have a desk job, guess I can’t do that anymore. Working with the app has been a piece of cake for me. Although I wish there were some sleep stories, I dig those! Also, if the developers are reading this, it would be nice if you guys could create a community forum.

### 5/5 — You should download

*2020-09-23, version 2.1.4*

A friend recommended me this app a few months ago and I have been thanking her ever since. This app helps you do the little things that you put off time after time due to one lame excuse or the other. The tasks are so simple and doable but still manage to give a sense of elation whenever I complete one of them. Joyscore really helps me on bad days when I am feeling low and negative. I complete the tasks and feel proud of myself that I did something positive for myself today.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2020-09-23*

I love being able to track my progress in terms of mind, body, and life! This is arguably the best feature of the app. Most people overlook that body and life matter just as much as the mind, especially users with mental health issues – they focus only on meditation and other mindfulness tasks. The developers seem to have taken cognizance of this fact which is why the app recommends activities for improvising on all 3 aspects, and not just one. The tasks are enjoyable and I did not feel any exhaustion even after prolonged use of the app. Love this app, thanks devs!

### 5/5 — Thank you

*2020-09-23*

At first, I was lost because I was expecting to find a mood-tracker with a couple of extra features here and there. The app, though, had something much larger in store for me. To begin with, the mood tracker is also fabulous. It asks you to choose from 6 types of moods (sad, angry, bored, excited, happy, or content) and there’s a text box down there to make notes of potential events that made you feel a certain way. But here’s the catch – it asks me the intensity of the mood as well. Charming, right? Next, it takes me to a graph that gives me a pattern of my mood intensity as journalized over a certain period. This is awesome for those looking to identify a pattern. Then, it’s time to work with the app towards improving your mood through activities. This is perhaps among the most elaborate self-care apps on the store today, well done team joyscore!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2020-09-23*

Perfect for users who specifically require that an app not repeatedly bombard them with notifications or spam e-mail. As far as the app goes, I appreciate that the app uses a score to track progress. There’re also 3 different scores that create tremendous utility for those of us looking to focus on any one or more of the scored areas (mind, body, and life). I was also pleased that the app didn’t annoy me with reminders about unfinished tasks, I hate those. Although the audio clips could have been better, other tasks more than make up for it with superior effectiveness and diversity. It became 10x easier for me to grasp the current status, and subsequently my progress with the app because they presented it with a number. I can vouch for the effectiveness of the app. It works like a charm!

### 5/5 — It is really good

*2020-09-23, version 2.1.4*

I was looking for something like this for a very long time. This app helps me in using my time efficiently. I feel good about myself at the end of the day when I have performed all these tasks.

### 5/5 — Good job

*2020-09-23*

This app does pretty much all the work, except for the tasks of course. It asks how you’re feeling, it keeps track of those moods and draws you a neat little graph, it gives you tasks based on your mood, it asks how much time you can provision for self-care and works with you accordingly, it’s practically perfect with 0 shortcomings as far as I am concerned. The giant collection of activities is also a big plus. Any self-care activity you can think of, the app’s got it! The app is still a fresh project though, so I expect to see plenty of growth over the next couple of months.

### 5/5 — Thanks

*2020-09-23*

Plenty of self-care apps beat around the bush, and focus on bragging about their app rather than directly cutting to chase and begin working on self-care. Also, a lot of self-care guides lock up their most effective tasks which most users never get a chance to work with. These are all things that joyscore seems to have addressed. When you open the app, the app asks a couple of generic questions. Next, you have your joyscore and that’s pretty much it. You’re all set to commence your self-care journey. The simplicity, in terms of design and functioning, is marvelous. Perhaps that is why most users will not be overwhelmed with the app. All the core issues that other apps face seem to have been taken care of. Much love, developers, you have created something that was direly needed.

### 5/5 — Cool

*2020-09-23*

I have discovered a lot of amazing things in this lockdown and this app is one of them. The initial days of the lockdown were very tough for me and I was having trouble figuring things out. There was too much to do at work and at home. Then, I was seeing my friends doing creative things like cooking, writing and drawing on social media and this discouraged me even further. I also wanted to feel better and this app helped me. It was the name ‘Joyscore’ that got my attention at first and made me curious to see what this app was all about. Now I am not going to claim things like this app completely changed my life and all but I can definitely say that I’m doing much better now in life and improving every day.

### 5/5 — Free app

*2020-09-22, version 2.1.4*

I really admire the personal touch that has been given to this app by the creators. It is the little things like the ‘Journey’ option that give me the feeling that the app and the creators care for people and are not just in it for the money. This app is really informative and is helpful for people who want to focus on health and self -care.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Needs work

*2022-09-05, version 3.0.7*

I downloaded this bc the premise was nice. But I can’t even sign up. The screens won’t scroll. Buttons are over words. Just a bit of a mess. Too bad.

### 1/5 — Not working on ipad

*2022-05-05*

Why this is not working on my ipad saying service not available?

### 1/5 — Terrible to Navigate

*2021-09-20, version 2.4.1*

Awful trying to navigate around. I accidentally moved to a screen I didn’t mean to and it took ages to try and get back and then I went somewhere else and got a blank screen altogether and nothing I do is bringing me back to the home screen, therefore I’m uninstalling the app. This needs updating immediately.

### 1/5 — Stuck on same screen, app not responding

*2020-08-14, version 2.1.0*

I just downloaded this app and the first thing it asked me to do was enter my mood. After I did that the app froze and won’t respond to anything, even after closing it and opening it again.

### 2/5 — Great premise, lackluster execution

*2020-08-13*

I LOVE the idea of this app. Diving into it I can immediately see where it needs work.
I don’t know if the “feedback” section after each exercise goes straight to you, but i wrote as if it did.

Firstly, I encountered a scientific reading that was too technical to follow, and read at too rapid a pace; at the end you could hear the shuffling of her papers. Audio is something to work on. The meditation I heard was lackluster - a man talked about his book and experiences before leading a 2 minute “meditation” that was barely prepared for, and noises in the background were distracting. Perhaps I’m spoiled by apps that have real meditation teachers...

And accessibility: audio was rarely accompanied by text for the hearing impaired. When it was, ie with the meditation guy, the text did not match what was being said, or was absent altogether.

And the mood prompts could use some work; there’s not quite enough variation in moods as is. The slider to show how MUCH you feel that way is good, however.

What WAS good: a simple prompt to do 15 jumping jacks. Simple, effective.
Lotus breathing. Good breathing exercise, and the animation was timed well and looked good.

This is a new app obviously, so if it takes some time to grow, it takes time. That’s what reviews are for. It’s not a BAD app in theory, but in practice it needs some love. Give it some updates and I might be back for a better review! Hang in there.

**Developer response:** Dear VeestahYour feedback is valuable to us and we are delighted that you took your time to right a long review of our app.We are working on improving accessibility of our app so we reach out to all audience. As per your feedback we will be adding more fitness/Yoga Activties & improve our meditation related content. And yes your feedbacks after each activties are visible us along which helps us improve our content and we plan to do this on regular basis.Joy

### 3/5 — Please

*2020-10-27, version 2.2.1*

Can not open this application on my phone.

### 3/5 — Good App But Needs Work

*2020-08-16, version 2.1.1*

I downloaded this app after getting an ad on Instagram and I was curious. It has a great idea and motivates me to exercise but to be honest I really don’t like the meditations and stories that are told. One of them even made me feel worse about myself when it should’ve been encouraging. I don’t like the voices because it sounds like a child is speaking to me and telling me what to do. This is just my opinion though. The app needs to work on the voices/professionalism and not ask my mood immediately after doing one small thing.

I took the test and got a 90 out of 100. I guess it’s a rap! Great app! Fast, accurate and meaningful. Thanks JoyScore.

### 5/5 — Grateful for JoyScore App. 💖🙏🏻

*2020-10-02*

Before even downloading I thought it might be one of those apps which works similarly charging a lot with some less efficiency. I didn’t even had willingness to download however I downloaded just for the sake of checking how it functions.

As soon as I started using it the app changed my vote for it upside down. I’m loving the app it’s my favourite. Love how every morning a message pops up with HOW ARE YOU FEELING TODAY and Mood Registers.

JoyScore is my most favourite app. Keep the good going. SO MUCH OF LOVE❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻

### 5/5 — Great

*2020-09-23, version 2.1.4*

I am getting more and more addicted to this app with every passing day. Earlier, I used to find excuses to not perform the tasks on this app but after some days, I decided to give it one more chance. And now, I stall other things and tasks in my life to focus on the challenges of this app. This app gives me a strong sense of accomplishment after I finish the challenges. And the challenges are really fun and gives you a chance to try out something that you have never done before.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2020-09-23*

I am not a person who is interested in things like improving my mental health and yoga. So, when my sister asked me to install this app on my phone, I was a skeptic. But once I started using it, I realized it is a pretty simple app that will help you get your daily schedule in order. The app has helped me in taking care of myself in this pandemic as I live alone. I was not able to give much time to myself because now in the pandemic, the line between work tasks and home tasks have blurred. Now, this might sound like an exaggeration but this app is one of the few things that has kept me sane in these insane times.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2020-09-23, version 2.1.4*

I have made it a routine to open this app daily and perform all the tasks and listen to the audio notes. I never skip a day. I don’t want to skip a day. The music pieces that the creators have brought together give me peace and calm my mind.

### 5/5 — Best

*2020-09-23, version 2.1.4*

This might sound like a stupid comment but at first, I did not like the colour scheme of the app. It was not very appealing to me and I found it a bit dull. But after using it for a couple of days, I got used to it and was really pleased with all the features that this app has to offer.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2020-09-23, version 2.1.4*

This app has really fun activities. I love the explore section as there are many different activities which at first, I thought were a little weird but then found them exciting. Like there is a task named ‘Sugar Free Day’ where a person has to avoid sugar for 24 hours. Now, as a proud foodie, I can say it with a hundred percent guarantee that not a single day has passed in my life where I have not eaten something sweet. But I did it now! I went a full day without sugar and it felt amazing!

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2020-09-23, version 2.1.4*

Trust me when I tell you that I am the last person to install a fitness app on my phone. I didn’t even know what a burpee was before I installed this app. But now, I’m constantly checking the app to see progress and how far I have come from where I started.
