Meanwhile, it was kind of fun to color the one picture. You only get a choice of a few colors. For example, there is no yellow in the basic palette, which is odd for floral pictures. Calmeleon does offer predefined color palettes, but you can also create your own and adjust either for opacity. It also allows you to layer and build up your colors, so you can essentially mix your tones on your picture - the way you would when using traditional coloring tools. Most importantly, Calmeleopn offers more than the typical paint bucket tool for the application of color. You can apply colors to your image with various styluses types - and control the size and pressure (opacity) of your marks. I love it! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Last update messed up color palletes *2018-12-11, version 2.0* I have an iPhone 7 Plus and the last update made the color pallette where you can make your own colors useless. Every color is the same on the pallete now. Please fix. Also will not let you restore previous purchases. Contacted support and they were ZERO help. ### 2/5 — Crashes constantly *2022-03-24, version 2.0* I just purchased this earlier today, and while finishing one of the dot-to-dot pages, the app crashed 7-8 times while moving around the screen. The only reason I'm not giving it a one star rating is because the books themselves are pretty good. Sometimes going over the same spot numerous times helps, sometimes not. Update: everything costs apparently. The lines are also tricky to color inside and many are incorrectly drawn. And the great thing is that you can buy "books" of them rather than pay for a subscription. Mandalas are my favorite. I do wish there was a wider selection of colors to use as the one provided is rather slim. Some pictures are hard to color because lines don't meet in drawing and other areas won't accept color at all. I have purchased almost all sets but am disappointed that you don't add more New from time to time.
