### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-01-14, version 3.0.1*

I know they’re numerous mental health apps out there but this is my favorite by far. First, I like that the content on the app has been created by doctors and mental health professionals which makes me more confident using it. Another bonus is it’s free. I used to pay $50 annually for an app. Also, it’s easy to navigate and uses STT so when I’m in the journaling area I can speak rather then type out the entry. TBH, I would rather not type and probably wouldn’t journal if the app didn’t have this feature. I’d also say the Activities section has a lot of content and definitely helps me to relax and deal appropriately with situations that arise. Definitely worth downloading!

### 5/5 — Practical real help

*2026-01-14, version 3.0.1*

It’s reassuring to know that all the activities are created by experts! Really good quality - and it’s free!

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2026-01-14, version 3.0.1*

This app is amazing and really helped me. I can’t believe it’s free!

### 5/5 — My go to app for difficult emotions

*2024-12-15, version 2.2*

I always feel better after using this app. You have no idea how much this app has saved me in anxious & depressed moments. I’m so lucky to have come across it and that such an app exists for us, thank you for your hard work!! <3

### 5/5 — So great for anxiety and depression

*2024-10-15*

This is honestly the only mental health app that has actually worked for me and helped me with anxiety and depression. I can go on this app and be confident that I will feel better once I’m done. Thank you :)

### 5/5 — AMAZING

*2024-03-07, version 1.760*

This app seriously helped me a lot. I’m struggling and this app just listens to what’s happened and helps. It gives things that will help YOU! I’m surprised this app is even free since most apps I’ve tried to adapt my mental health are free but bad or for money! 🌿

### 5/5 — I suggest you read the privacy policy

*2023-04-25, version 1.752*

While installing this app, I was concerned when it seemed that I was giving consent about something like data retention with no option to opt out at that moment. It said I could change preferences later in settings. I couldn't find any way to do that in the settings though. So I read the Privacy Policy to find out you have to contact them separately to opt out of their data collection for marketing and advertising. One example--They say "We may receive personal data about you from various third parties and public sources as set out below:" Sources include analytics providers and advertising networks. Websites do this all day long but I feel like a mental health app doesn't need to do this.
So my long-winded take is that I feel like they should tell you up front that they are going to profile you from third-party sources and also use this information to show you ads. It also should be easier to opt out.

But I'm not going to ding the app on stars. It seems like a good app. And they are seemingly honest in their privacy policy. It's too bad though that I am needing to read privacy policies.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2022-07-16*

I recommend this app it has helped with my anxiety attacks without me spending any money I really do recommend this if you get anxious and have lots of anxiety/panic attack I’m excited to see how I’ve improved with this app

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for this kind feedback! It’s really moving to receive messages like this one, and we appreciate you took time to write. We’re on a mission to create the best mental health app out there and hearing back from users like you motivates the whole team at Mind Ease!

### 5/5 — Pretty impressive (not being sarcastic)

*2022-06-04, version 1.71*

This actually helps really good and you don’t need to pay to actually do it! 1O/1O really helps! Thanks 😗

### 5/5 — I was sad now I’m not

*2022-05-21, version 1.63*

I used the app because I was sad for my great grandpa who broke his back, I used the app to calm me down, and I can’t stop smiling! Even I texted my teacher about this app it’s that good. (Yes it’s random I know my teacher’s number.) She said she would check it out. I think this app should be the app of the day and be the best app in the world.

### 5/5 — This app is lovely and as someone who suffers from anxiety this really helps 😊

*2022-05-06, version 1.63*

I love this app I am speechless

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-02-15, version 3.1.5*

I just don’t get it. Seems useless to me. First thing I saw was a question with no where to write an answer! That put me off.

### 1/5 — Too much reading

*2026-02-07, version 3.1.5*

Every activity has loads of reading. It's boring and it made me tired. I also felt it was putting blame on me for my response to outside circumstances that are a problem. When my rent is increasing to an unaffordable level and I feel anxious about that, my feeling is correct. I also found the language used to describe things insulting, such as using the phrase control freak. And using a banal example is unhelpful. Insulting.

### 1/5 — Ad says Free Anxiety App—Definitely NOT free

*2023-11-15, version 1.758*

You can’t even finish signing up without adhering to pay. This shouldn’t be allowed to happen—especially to a protected group. Is it a good app? I’m still stuck on their exploitation and manipulation of people suffering from anxiety and panic disorders—by openly, unapologetically claiming the app is free.

I don’t mind paying. I mind very much being manipulated into downloading something on the premise there is no cost associated with doing so.

### 1/5 — Tired of clicking for next step

*2022-03-30, version 1.63*

When you are during the mediation process and the app wants you to click on next step and Why can’t you just continue playing the instructions. What a annoying. Please make an option for continuing playing without click for next step. Thanks

### 1/5 — Useless

*2021-12-21, version 1.513*

Totally useless. Its like a bad joke.

Only thing that helps is benzodiazepines

### 1/5 — App does not let me to login…

*2021-10-17, version 1.442*

… with Apple account.

### 1/5 — Placené

*2021-08-18, version 1.442*

Po instalaci se dozvíte ze aplikace se platí paušálně 1 týden je zdarma.
Nic proti tomu ale myslím že by to mělo být patrné před instalací.

### 2/5 — Meh

*2026-03-16, version 3.1.8*

Is okay but the activities keep repeating so I’ve had the same ones for the last couple of weeks

### 2/5 — Limited

*2025-09-28, version 2.35.2*

It’s free. Otherwise it’s very limited, there is no chat bot or accessibility settings. I don’t understand its purpose.

### 3/5 — Actually helpful

*2021-10-08, version 1.442*

Definitely worth downloading. The whole interface is calming and the tasks really work to reduce anxiety.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Brilliant

### 5/5 — Amazing - PLEASE try the app.

*2026-06-11, version 3.2.2*

I work in NHS Talking Therapies and can say this app is great, meets you where you’re at and uses a lot of techniques and skills we use in treatment. Please try it and be as consistent as you can, use the functions properly and take the time for yourself.

### 5/5 — Airplane phobia

*2026-05-30, version 3.2.2*

### 5/5 — Great content and free!

*2026-01-28, version 3.1.2*

### 5/5 — Brilliant Helpful App

*2026-01-27, version 3.1.1*

A great resource for mental health and mood management, with exercises that genuinely make you think and help you understand what you’re feeling. A lot of thought has gone into it. It’s also an actually completely free app with no ads that doesn’t harvest your data - very rare these days!

### 5/5 — Helpful app for anxiety

*2026-01-17, version 3.0.1*

This app is brilliant, the exercises are designed really well replicating a lot of anxiety support I had during therapy. You can personalise it too which makes it even better.
