## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1.0 — 2026-07-24

• A new What's New sheet greets you after each update — starting with a thank-you, because this app is built for the people using it.
• Vertical Timeline: scroll through your days instead of swiping. Turn it on any time in Settings.
• Every button in the app is now fully rounded, for a softer, more consistent feel.

Got an idea? Settings → Feedback & Feature Requests. Your suggestions decide what gets built next.

### 2.0.2 — 2026-06-11

• Fixed an issue where photos of custom foods and combos could disappear after an app update
• Performance improvements and stability fixes

### 2.0.1 — 2026-04-29

CaloIO 2.0.1 — UI polish

Two small fixes to make sheets feel more consistent.

Fixed
- Scanner sheet header: the close (X) button was rendering smaller than the surrounding icons (recent scans, torch, camera flip). All four icons in the header now use the same 44pt hit target.
- Quick Add sheet: the "auto-fill from photo" action was hidden behind a tiny scan icon next to the title with no label. It is now a clearly labeled, full-width action card ("Scan Nutrition Label / Auto-fill values from a photo") matching the same pattern used on the Create Food screen, so it is obvious that it is tappable.

No behavior changes — only visual fixes.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-04-27

CaloIO 2.0 is our biggest release yet — three new pillars built around what happens after you log a meal.
GOALS
Set a target weight and a weekly pace (Gentle 0.25 kg, Steady 0.50 kg, or Aggressive 0.75 kg) right in onboarding, or any time from Settings → Goal. Your calorie target now scales linearly with the pace you choose — closer to the way MacroFactor budgets — instead of a flat ±500 kcal. The home header shows a tiny "−2.4 kg to go · ~6 weeks at this pace" line so you always know where you stand.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Thirteen milestones unlock as you log: First bite, 3-/7-/30-day streaks, first scan, first combo, first fast, 16h fast, 24h fast, first weight log, down 1 kg, down 5 kg, and 100 logs. Each unlock pops a celebration sheet with a haptic and a confetti burst in the macro palette. Multiple at once? They queue up and play one after another. Existing users get a silent first-launch bootstrap so you're not spammed with retro unlocks. The full grid lives in Settings → Achievements.
BODY PROGRESS
A whole new tracking surface. Log waist, chest, hips, bicep, thigh, and body-fat % over time, view a line chart per metric, and scroll the full history. Snap front-camera progress photos alongside any entry (or photo-only with no number) — they live on-device under Documents/measurements and never get uploaded. Tap any thumbnail for fullscreen with pinch-to-zoom and a burned-on date label for easy comparison.

### 1.13.0 — 2026-04-27

CaloIO 1.13.0 — Food detail redesign

What's new
- Food detail screen redesigned with a large hero image header
that collapses into a pinned title bar as you scroll. The food
name, macro rings, quantity controls, meal selector, and
nutrition table all live in a clean rounded card below.
- Combo preview screen gets the same treatment — your combo
photo now fills the top of the screen, and a primary "Log
combo" button replaces the small + icon.
- The food name is constrained to the title pill with proper
  ellipsis when it's too long.
- Status-bar-aware overlay buttons: back and bookmark icons
always sit above the image with a scaffold-colored fill so
they stay legible against any photo.
- For foods or combos without a photo, a clean tinted
  placeholder block is shown instead.

Improvements
- Save/log action moved out of the cramped header and into a
full-width primary button right where you'd expect it,
between the meal selector and the nutrition table.
- Title pill in the collapsed bar fades in only after the hero
has scrolled away, so it doesn't compete with the image.
- Adapts cleanly to dark mode — backgrounds, icons, and the
title pill all switch to the right tones.
