## What is Calorie and Nutrients Counter?

Welcome to "Calorie and Nutrients Counter (CNC)". This is a simple tool for calculating Calorie requirement, counting Calories and Nutrients in food to maintain healthy body or lose weight.


The app calculates Body Mass Index (BMI), BMI Category and Estimated Energy (Calorie) Requirement for men and women. The Estimated Energy (Calorie) Requirement is calculated based on “Dietary Reference Intakes for Energy - 2023”.

The app provides US Dietary Pattern - Healthy U.S. Style and Healthy Vegetarian Style based on Calorie level. It also display Bar chart of Food Group (Vegetable, Dairy, Fruit ) for different Calorie levels.

The app includes drop-down menu for Food Groups: Starches, Fruits, Milk and Diary, Vegetables, Combination Foods, Protein and Fats, Sweets and Desserts. This enables user to know the amount of Calories and Nutrients (Carb, Protein, Fats, Sugar, Sodium and Cholesterol) in food before selecting the food for Calories and Nutrients calculation so that user can select healthy food to eat based on Nutrients content.  

The app counts the Calories and Nutrients: Carb, Protein, Fats, Sugar, Sodium and Cholesterol of each selected food until the Estimated Energy (Calorie) Requirement is met. It counts the Nutrients: Carb, Protein, Fats, Sugar, Sodium and Cholesterol of either each selected food or several selected foods from different Food Group at a time and provides the charts (Donut, Bar) and percentage of Nutrients. 

Food Data is taken from US FoodData Central.

This app has helped me so much in keeping me in track with my calories. I lost significant amount of weight in the last  6 months and I owe a lot of credit to being able to track my calories with this app. The food library is extensive and it's really easy to create recipes of things you eat regularly. I also like that I can go back and edit my food plan. I'm in weight maintenance now, feel healthy and will continue to use the app to help me stay on track.

This user friendly app has a nice display of calorie and nutrients of each food in percentage and charts. It helped me to determine calorie and breakdown of carb, protein, fat, sugar, sodium and cholesterol in different foods came to body and maintain good health by selecting low calorie foods with good nutrients.

It helped to lose weight and motivated to continue this App to track calorie and nutrients in foods for healthy body maintenance. It has great food data and no advertisement.

It helped to eat balanced diet based on US dietary pattern. It gave information about vegetable, grain, protein, dairy and fruit required every day for healthy body.

This convenient and user friendly app helped me lose weight.
This app helps track the calories and nutrients in different food items (carb, protein, fat, sugar, sodium and cholesterol) which is helpful for losing or maintaining weight. The calories and nutrients are displayed as percentage and charts. This is great for meal planning and inclusion of about vegetable, grain, protein, dairy and fruit in your diet.
It has no advertisement. Highly recommended.
