### 3/5 — Update frustration

*2026-09-01, version 10.33*

Latest update changed how the green log button appears - it used to be fine, but now there is 1/2 -1 second delay as the log button slides up from the bottom of the screen, and the timing is just perfect to cause me to miss it as it starts sliding up the screen, causing me to hit number or units buttons instead. I must have hit the wrong button at least 2 dozen times today trying to hit that whack-a-mole log button. Suffice it to say, this latest ui update is bad.

### 2/5 — My weight history not easy to find

*2026-08-31, version 10.33*

Meal suggestions aren’t useful

### 3/5 — Pretty good

*2026-08-29, version 10.33*

Useful app, but not sure why copying / moving / deleting has moved to a sub menu in the latest update. Just annoying having a core function now hidden behind an unnecessary menu.

### 2/5 — My weight history not easy to find

*2026-08-10, version 10.28*

Meal suggestions aren’t useful

### 5/5 — efficient useful smart

*2026-08-02, version 10.28*

i am very appreciative with apps integration of data from withings body scan and garmin bpm without using apple health. i would like ability to NOT use any Apple Health Data....

note:: please fix the time!!!! alot of us don't follow suburban people schedules and actually start our days at 0200AM... this app incorrectly blends early AM data with the previous day

### 5/5 — MyNetDiary

*2026-08-02, version 10.28*

Awesome! Great support for losing weight sensibly and healthfully.

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2026-08-01, version 10.28*

I like the fact that the App nudges you to keep up with the program.
We get busy, distracted, and just lazy with things in our lives. It’s polite but reminds you to keep up. I haven’t been lucky with losing the pounds as quickly as I hoped.
However, slowly getting there. I knew its not a Real”friend “ but I have come to respect this program alot.

### 5/5 — User friendly

*2026-07-30, version 10.28*

I have tried many diet calorie counting apps. This is not the most advanced. But it is the most user friendly, with the most items to choose from

### 5/5 — LOVE IT!

*2026-07-29, version 10.27*

Live that you can enter grams of what you eat, as I am small so every little bit(e) adds up!
Just wish you could delete entries from the history...but it's the best app of this kind that I've tried, and I've tried them ALL! :)

### 5/5 — Great way to maintain weight

*2026-07-27, version 10.27*

I have been using MyNetDiary for years. This is the best accountability tool I’ve found- when I use it consistently, I balance my macros and maintain a healthy weight. It’s intuitive and user-friendly. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Calorie counter

*2026-07-25, version 10.27*

Easy, simple and efficient.

### 5/5 — Simple-effective

*2026-07-24, version 10.27*

"That which gets measured, gets done". Fab tool!! Did the trick for losing 40 lbs, but more important: it is golden for maintaining. I talk about it with everyone who notices my new physique.

### 4/5 — Mostly great

*2026-07-23, version 10.27*

Well-designed, mostly-intuitive, yet powerful, interface.

I wish this weren’t clogged up with so many photo-less foods because it is hard to decide whether something is a match based just on name. Especially when some almost identical alternatives might have half or double the calories.

Would also be nice if it knew regional names (e.g. rock melon).

Better integration with Strava would be helpful

### 5/5 — Long time app user

*2026-07-22, version 10.27*

This app is designed phenomenally for effective weight loss. It was a key tool in my profound success. The UI is super easy to log daily calories and calories burned in exercise to guide one towards safe, effective, and sustainable weight loss. The Community forum is incredibly supportive, helps w/ accountability, and contains a wealth of helpful and supportive information daily. I am a practicing cardiologist, and this app has still taught me so much and has been the cornerstone of my success. Download it/start using it, and thank me later. . .

### 5/5 — Useful app

*2026-07-22, version 10.27*

I use mynetdiary daily to record my weight, fat level, food and exercise calories. I use the plan to set my objectives and the charts to see how I'm doing. I aim for 40% carbs 40% protein 20% fat and I can read how I am doing off the dashboard. Same for protein where I try to eat two grams per kilo body weight. The database of food and exercise calories is pretty extensive and the bar code reader helps with gathering nutritional information. It’s good that you can photo any food packaging where the bar code isn’t recognised and forward this for inclusion on the database usually with 24 hours Highly recommended. What’s missing is a graph showing body composition using weight and body fat% - come on mynetdiary you know it makes sense😜😜😜

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2026-07-22, version 10.27*

Very easy to use

### 5/5 — Easy to use and stay on track

*2026-07-22, version 10.27*

Been using this app to track my food intake and exercise for years now. Using it to log everything is super simple and really helps to stay on track.

### 5/5 — Cal counter pro

*2026-07-21, version 10.27*

This app has been very helpful for me to keep track of my food. The AI feature also is very helpful.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Just an advertising platform for premium subscription

*2026-08-21, version 10.31*

This is pretty much the light+ version of the free version

Tons of features are present but locked behind the premium paywall.

To make things worse, the app is constantly shoving “upgrade to premium” advertisements throughout the app.

You’re pretty much just buying a demo for their premium service. If I had known this, I would have just gotten any other calorie tracking app

### 1/5 — I’m disappointed

*2026-05-17, version 10.15*

I’m disappointed with the app’s behavior and monetization design. Even after disabling subscription reminders and premium prompts, the app still constantly suggests features that turn out to be Premium-only after you tap them. This is frustrating and feels misleading.

Premium-only features should either be clearly marked everywhere or fully hidden when the user chooses to disable Premium promotions. I don’t need AI tools, advanced analytics, or any of the extra premium clutter. I just want a clean food diary and recipe tracker without endless upsell attempts.

The food database for Russia is also very poor compared to competitors.

Overall, the experience feels unnecessarily pushy and overcomplicated for users who only need basic calorie and recipe tracking.

### 1/5 — Used to be okay

*2026-04-03, version 10.9*

Was a decent app that I’ve used for years. Lately less functionality is available

### 1/5 — Scam!

*2026-03-29, version 10.9*

Ask for one off payment £3.99 and when you pay they then let you know to get the full benefits of the app you must upgrade waste of time!

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2026-03-18, version 10.7*

Pay $3.99 then you find out a lot of the options can only be used if you purchase premium. Not Cool!!!’

### 1/5 — Nags you to upgrade

*2026-03-15, version 10.7*

I thought by purchasing the Pro version of the app it’d stop constantly nagging me to upgrade.

My mistake. I’m still seeing banners and pop-ups cluttering my app.

They are very clever and don’t show them all the time — for example a banner has now appeared after a few days.

This company uses lots of FOMO dark patterns to entice upgrading such as ‘one-time only offers’ and ‘one-day sales’.

It just feels like extracting money from my pocket is the primary goal and I’m not having it. I’ve requested a refund and I also have decided not to upgrade to Premium (I was considering it) because, guess what, there’s also a Premium PLUS and I’m sure I’ll just get nagged to upgrade to that.

### 1/5 — Where is the lifetime premium purchase?

*2026-03-14, version 10.7*

The only reason I paid $4 for this app is because lifetime premium (one time payment) was listed as an option and there is NO way to purchase the lifetime premium once you purchase the app. This is a scam.

### 1/5 — Too many ads

*2026-03-13*

Constant ads to buy premium are really annoying.

**Developer response:** Hi there,
Thanks for your feedback! The Pro App is a one-time purchase that unlocks several features beyond the Free App—like custom macros, recipe editing, and timestamps. Premium adds even more advanced tools such as custom nutrient targets, AI scanning, and detailed reports.
If you'd prefer not to see Premium upgrade offers, you can turn them off by going to:
Me tab > App Settings > Advice & Tips > Show upgrade offers – OFF

### 1/5 — constantly asking for reviews

*2026-02-22, version 10.6*

constantly asking for reviews

### 1/5 — Not good.

*2026-02-20, version 10.6*

You have to buy the app at £3.99 then have to subscribe to a monthly/yearly fee. Refund requested.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great for tracking food, nutrients and weight!

*2026-09-02, version 10.33*

I love this app. Very customizable. Have used it for years.

### 5/5 — BEST Amazingly easy to use. TRACKER EVER!

*2026-09-01, version 10.33*

For the serious minded person who wishes to balance good nutrition with a weight-loss program. Absolutely
fantastic.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-09-01, version 10.33*

Great for following weight, nutrition, and exercise.

### 5/5 — relay app

*2026-08-30, version 10.33*

this app seems to relay data thru apple health, and not direct from withings devices.

somewhat annoying; but there are no more actual programmers; so why even bother with this review

...
data-wise this app is great

...
if using forcasts and if you want to use this as a directing tool, it requires a lot of constant fiddling around. -- crash dieting breaks this app's function entirely.... so just stay on your will power and don't waste time with its "poor" forecasts and analytics

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-08-30, version 10.33*

On it every free minute i get. So much to look at and use. Im glad I came across it.

### 5/5 — Great app for learning how to change your eating habits…

*2026-08-12, version 10.28*

No dumb ads, no pressure, just a great way to keep track of what you eat.

### 5/5 — I love this app!

*2026-08-08, version 10.28*

I've tried a number of these nutrition apps, but this has, by far, been the easiest to use and the most informative.

### 5/5 — Nuttsy

*2026-08-05, version 10.28*

I think that this app is great helps keep on track. Thanks recommend

### 5/5 — My net diary

*2026-08-05, version 10.28*

Finally an app that tells me everything I need to know, instantly! Works great no matter what diet your on or if you just want to keep an accurate food diary.
Great App, convenient, keeps me on track when I get the urge to indulge.

### 5/5 — A lot better

*2026-08-03, version 10.28*

I always seem to come back to this app…I like it but sometimes I need to have a rest from it now and then….it’s good….really good
