## What is Calorie Gap?

Your Apple Watch randomly fails to track resting calories overnight — especially while charging. When it happens, you're left hundreds of calories short for the day without even knowing it.

If you're counting calories for weight loss, this throws off apps like Lose It! and other calorie trackers. Your daily burn looks lower than it really is, and your calorie budget is wrong.

Calorie Gap fixes this automatically. It finds the missing hours, estimates what you burned, and adds the missing calories. Every app that reads your Health data gets your full daily burn.

HOW IT WORKS

The app scans your resting energy history and identifies periods where data is missing. For each gap, it estimates your burn rate using recent data: sleep gaps use your minimum overnight rate, awake gaps use the rate from just before the gap. Review the estimate, adjust if needed, or let the app fix everything automatically.
