It's already very good, and the developer continues to upgrade the app. This is important, particularly given that the developer is now also working on newer, subscription-based apps. The fact that Lumen Spark hasn't 'orphaned' this app shows that you can trust them not to abandon you to gradual obsolescence with any of their apps, now or in the future. I'd give it five stars if it could integrate with Apple Health. Lumen Trails is the best app I've seen for tracking health data and graphing correlations between things like exercise and blood pressure. Unfortunately, this currently necessitates manual re-entry of a lot of data from automatic health-tracking programs like Runtastic. I hope to see that problem fixed, and will revise my review when it is. ### 1/5 — No, thanks! *2016-11-07* Why I won't update this app: 1. The new fonts are ugly. Previous version uses SF UI font which looks better. 2. ADS are inserted to ad-free app. 3. The developer changes app price very frequntly. First he said that old app will work but removed from app store and replaced by Lumen Tracker. Lumen Tracker had subscription of $6.99/month->2.99->1.99. Also there was initailly 1 month free trial->1 hour free trial->no free trial but ads. Old Lumen Trails apps were removed from App store. In v 8.17 changelog, he said that "we made Lumen Trails completely free". But than he found that Lumen Tracker is not discovered by many. So he brought back Lumen Trails and added subscription model to this old app, too. He is also OK with 1 star reviews because he says that he earns more at present than past.(from the blog post on his website) 4. I tried Lumen Tracker, but category icons are removed. 5. He deleted my previous reviews of Lumen apps and blocked me on Twitter. I didn't write anything offensive. That's why I wrote this review again. 6. Please update screenshots of Lumen Trails app. The first screenshot with 5 star is misleading. 7. There was no warning previously that this update adds ads. Many users on iPhone may have updated the app directly on their iPhone without backup. There might not have v 8.17 ipa. I'm luckey to have backup. Those users' frustration is reflected in 1 star reviews. The developer has deleted my reviews of all his apps-twice. Also he banned me on Twitter without any reason (maybe one star review the reason). ### 1/5 — Don't bother *2016-11-04* I bought this app a few years ago for £5.99. I don't use it much because it's cumbersome to setup and navigate, but every now then it's handy to get my goals back on track. I now find that the app is ad supported and I have to pay a subscription to get the ads removed. I contacted the developer and was told the change in licensing was necessary to support ongoing app development, but in the years I've had the app it hasn't changed. No new features, apart from a bit of repackaging to try and draw in more sales. I think this app is failing due to lack of development. It's cumbersome to navigate and far easier to use multiple trackers (that do a better job) and switch between them with the home button. This app wasn't worth the £5.99 I paid for it and so it certainly isn't worth a regular subscription. I hope the developer is listening? All I can say is that I'm glad I didn't buy my car from Lumen Spark, or I might wake up morning and find it looking like an F1 car covered with sponsors ads. I would then receive a letter telling me that even though I bought the car, I must now also rent it if I want the sponsors ads removed. Stay away from this dodgy developer and all his other apps :) ### 1/5 — Comment ruiner sa réputation sur l'appstore *2016-10-27* Le Martin Shkreli de l'appstore. I paid $20 for this app and now there are ads showing up??? Take them down!! If not then provide refunds. This is absolutely ridiculous. VERY unhappy...not likely to try or recommend any other lumen trails products if this is not resolved. ### 1/5 — RIP OFF CON ARTISTS *2016-10-14* A good while ago, I BOUGHT (with good money) 3 versions of this app, when it was Lumen Trails. And a very good app it was too. Then, the new Lumen Tracker was developed, along with Lumen Notes. Don't worry, we were told, we will continue to support Lumen Trails. Now, all the apps have "updated" with ads. And an "option" to remove them by paying a monthly fee. When I ALREADY paid for the apps in the first place. In my opinion, this is nothing short of a con by greedy developers. Update vom Iphone löschen, dann mit itunes verbinden und die alte Version, sofern mal mit Itunes syncronisiert wurde, wieder aufs iphone machen. Dann habt ihr die Version ohne Werbung zurück. Saucool… Die 8 Farben: erst hab ich es auch nicht kapiert, aber alle Apps sind gleich, nur unterschiedlich vorkonfiguriert. Habe mittlerweile alle Farben für unterschiedliche Aufgaben (es gibt sie immer wieder mal preisreduziert oder kostenlos) MINUS: Sync mit dem Rechner läuft nur über Google.
