## What is CalorieSnap™?

Most calorie apps tell you what you ate. CalorieSnap tells you where tonight is headed, so you can adjust before bed instead of regretting it tomorrow.

KNOW TONIGHT'S BALANCE BEFORE BED
Your Home screen combines food, activity, and your target into a projected bedtime balance. As evening approaches, CalorieSnap shows whether tonight is on plan and helps you judge what still fits.

SNAP THE PLATE, NOT JUST THE FOOD
Point the camera at your meal and the scanner estimates distinct foods on the plate. Chicken, rice, broccoli, and drinks stay editable instead of becoming one vague guess. Each scan shows a calorie range, like 772 to 872 kcal, so you can see how solid the estimate is before you accept it. Fix a portion once and future logs become easier to correct.

TRY IT BEFORE YOU SIGN UP
Try a limited photo-scan preview before signup. Accepted guest meals stay on this device and move to your account when you sign up. Apple Health can be previewed locally.

LOG ANY WAY YOU LIKE
• Photo scan with editable multi-item estimates
• Barcode scanner for packaged foods
• Search powered by Open Food Facts, plus a starter set of popular restaurant items
• Type a meal description or use keyboard dictation, then review the editable result
• Quick manual entry for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks
• Quick weight entry and contextual exercise logging

A COACH THAT ALREADY KNOWS TODAY
The coach reads today's numbers before you say a word. Ask it to plan dinner, help you finish tonight within target, or review your week. Free includes up to 10 coach messages per day. Premium raises the limit to 100 messages per day.

WORKS WITH APPLE HEALTH
CalorieSnap reads steps, workouts, active energy, heart rate, sleep, and weight so the daily picture reflects the data you allow.

PREMIUM
Free includes barcode and manual meal logging, Apple Health, weekly recap, account-data export, up to 5 AI photo scans, and up to 10 coach messages per day. Premium raises photo scans to 50 and coach messages to 100 per day. StoreKit shows the current localized monthly or annual price and any 14-day introductory offer for which the Apple ID is eligible before purchase.

ABOUT THE NUMBERS
Every number in CalorieSnap is an editable estimate. A camera cannot weigh your food, so photo results show a range instead of pretending to know exactly. Corrections take seconds. CalorieSnap offers nutrition information, not medical advice.

Your data stays yours: export it or delete your account from inside the app.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-14

Your plate now explains itself. Every food the scanner finds is labeled on the photo with its name and calories, and you can still review and edit every item before it counts.

Also in this update:
- A clearer welcome: see the three steps of your journey up front
- Faster account setup with Apple, Google, or email
- A small celebration when your plan is ready
- Smoother meal review with per-item nutrition
- Reliability fixes for sign-out and coach handoff

### 1.2.0 — 2026-07-30

CalorieSnap 1.2 makes getting started faster and more reliable. This update improves Apple, Google, and email sign-in, introduces a shorter, clearer personalization flow, strengthens meal logging and calorie-balance reliability, improves Light, Dark, and System appearance, and provides clearer Apple Health and privacy information.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-27

We redesigned the Home screen around one question: where is tonight headed?

Your calorie balance now shows as a single number you can read at a glance, with the full range one line beneath it when you want the detail.

Also new:
• Nutrition Focus. Watching your sugar, sodium, or protein? Set it once and your coach and meal breakdowns keep it in view.
• A coach that works from your real numbers for the day, not generic tips.
• A clearer weekly recap and progress view, so the week is easier to read.
• Smaller fixes throughout to keep things quick and smooth.

Thanks for tracking with us. We read every note you send.
