UPDATE 2025: had to set Calvetica aside for awhile when I had my iPhone SE, it had trouble with the screen size and buttons were hidden. But I'm on an iPhone 16e and Calvetica is still working. ORIGINAL circa 2019: When I first got my iPhone, I immediately set about looking for a replacement for the stock iOS calendar app and came across Calvetica: beautiful, fast entry and just what I needed to make sense of my life. When iOS 13 came out and the app started crashing, I thought that was the end. Another dead piece of software to succumb in this new world we live in where things are even more ephemeral. I now have an iPhone 14 that is all screen, no fingerprint button . I can make changes as I can see the “ save” bottom edge of the pop up . I have my favorite reliable calendar back ! This adds the step of selecting from the various calendars every time I save a new event - a bit cumbersome. Thanks ### 4/5 — Fantastic, Free, but Apple broke it *2023-04-21, version 5.3.9* This app is amazing, even after one of the recent iOS updates from around 2021 screwed with the screen sizing and made the app much less useful- I still have it pinned and use it to visualize my schedule far more often than the supplemental calendar app I have to use now in order to save edits to events. If a dev could find all us users a solution I know many would be grateful! I’ve been using Calvetica everyday for many years now... I think more than 5. Some minor bugs have always been around but nothing too bad, but now there is a strange thing: I can’t see all of my iCloud calendars, just a few of them. I can see them in other apps, but not in Calvetica. I don’t know how to make my other calendars appear, and they don’t answer my emails since two weeks ago. So, not being able to see all my calendars and bad customer support = 1 star. I really hope to get back to Calvetica and give it a 5 ### 1/5 — Not working on iPhone 6s :( *2022-11-09, version 5.3.9* After clicking on any option, it is impossible to return to normal view. There is no way to shut the option screen. The same was with communicate on bugs fixed. In ~2020 this calendar was abandoned by the developer and is now a mess. As many have said, when attempting a change of an entry , a large screen pops up that has no option to delete. Ones only option is to close the app . I have deleted this app multiple times and reinstalled it . Have tried to communicate with the developer but can’t . Now (after the v5.3.9 update) is doesn’t work at all. Every function control was removed, can’t enter anything, can’t search anything, and can’t navigate the calendar. “Support” no longer working, since they shut down their email account and most of their web site.
