## What is Cam Viewer?

Cam Viewer is designed to work with WiFi enabled Nextbase Dash Cams.
Currently compatible with Nextbase NBDVR312GW, NBDVR380GW, NBDVR412GW, NBDVR512GW, NBDVR612GW, MIRROR and DUO-HD.

Cam Viewer will allow Live View from the Dash Cam in addition to viewing video / photo files stored upon the camera and also downloading to your connected device for viewing later.
CamViewer also has an Upload facility to allow video files which are too large to Email to be uploaded to Nextbase who then provide a link which you can send to your insurance company / friends to download.

For your own safety do NOT operate CamViewer or your Dash Cam whilst driving.

I’ve had this camera for years, never needed to review footage from it until today. Damn thing keeps losing its WiFi connection while trying to download footage, which cuts off the download, and then instead of picking up where it left off, it starts all over again. Absolute rubbish.

This app and the connectivity are awful. Connected to Nextbase network but the app continually says there is no connection! Even if you do finally get through, the interface is so poor!

Awful app. It seems to have updated and now playback through the app doesn’t seem to work and it comes up with an error halfway through download. They need to look at update across the board for their apps because it seem to be a common theme that the apps are poor.

The app is not responding to to pairing I have tried continuously to pair,immediately drops out and sometimes hangs on, not long enough to edit videos. Very disappointing. Had it installed professionally by Nextbase installers but never worked for me. Have reach out to Nextbase with a ticket  for an e mail , seen nothing. Will complain to seller who sold us our car to have it removed and reimbursed.

This dashcam is useless. I had paid a lot of money for this piece of garbage and to install in my car but,  when I had an accident no video was recorded which now I have to pay with my own pocket as I did not see the motorbike registration number.  I will rate this 0

Dash cam app uses http and fails connection as software op system on phone supports https. htpps uses encrypted data which ensures users data is secure etc.
Therefore the operating software on phone will not allow the insecure http connection which cam viewer uses.
Please upgrade the cam viewer to allow https connection.
