## What is CamControl for iPhone?

CamControl iPhone is an operation and alarm verification software for all iPhone, iPad und iPod touch. This app allows live video transmission of HeiTel VideoGateways and ADPRO FastTrace systems and remote evaluation of HeiTel VideoGateways local video archives. The app offers remote control of PTZ and dome cameras and relays. The HeiTel own effective picture compression (HTcompress) provides high frame rates, also at low bandwidths.

As with previous reviews (3 weeks ago) ..losing the relay flag to identify is a catastrophic mistake. Hundreds of systems are fitted using the output relays to set and unset the systems as the app has always show the state of the relays. You have rendered your product unless please listen to your reviewers ! this process is supposed to help you identify bugs and make the the necessary changes to the loyal customers that buy your products.

1. No full screen view, useless on iPhone.

2. No indication that alarm system is set

Mit diesem Programm ist der mobile Zugriff auf Heitel-Video-Systeme möglich. Seit der Einbindung der IP-Kameras in die iPhone-Applikation können alle an ein Heitel-System angeschlossenen Kameras von unterwegs via Internetverbindung betrachtet werden. Macht alles, was es soll, und ist dabei einfach zu bedienen. Noch zwei Anregungen: 1. Quadro-Ansicht 2. Abspeichern der Qualitätseinstellungen für analoge Kameras.
Nachtrag - 3. Anregung: Das Display sollte sich wie bei den Navigationslösungen NICHT automatisch abschalten.

Ergänzung zu den negativen Kritiken: Die Software wird benötigt, um einen mobilen Zugriff auf EIGENE Überwachungssysteme zu haben - oder bei Leitstellenanwendungen im professionellen Bereich auf die angeschlossenen Kundensysteme zuzugreifen. Man hat also nur Zugang zu Überwachungssystemen, zu denen man auch Zugang bekommen soll...

Das User-Interface wirkt wie von 1980. In den letzen 2 Jahren gab es kein einziges Update. Hi-Tel sollte sich ansehen, was D-Link und andere Cam-Hersteller anbieten - denn Windows 98 Liebhaber sterben bald aus.
