It lets you select amongst various teas (black, green, oolong, and more) with preset infusion times, but also lets you customize those times to your preference and add more selections. Sure, I could always use my phone’s preinstalled timers, but this is simpler, faster, and more elegant. It tells you the ideal temperature and time for each tea type, but it allows you to edit them as you see fit. The chime for the alarm is very soft and not at all irritating.
