### 4/5 — Great lightweight affordable alternative

*2026-07-24, version 6.3.1*

This app is a huge help with run and gun live video for socials instead of having to use a big monitor all the time.

The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have anamorphic-squeeze as it's a need with my Canon R6V 🙏

### 4/5 — Great app, some suggestions

*2026-05-16, version 6.3.1*

Great alternative to Snap Bridge (very limited functionality) and NX Field (too complicated to setup). Would like to see larger shutter and AF buttons, and also an option to replicate the f1 and f2 buttons on the Nikon Z8. Alternatively, a button to quickly switch from FX to DX and back. Should also add support for Nikon Z digital zoom lenses (like the 28-135mm), so that you can operate the digital zoom from the app. Would also be nice to be able to move the histogram by dragging (or option to place it in any of the 4 quarters of the image). Also the level needs better guiding lines to know when the camera is perfectly level. Otherwise, it solves my need of having a simple remote control to shoot with a cage setup low over the water for wildlife photography without cable connections or unnecessary hardware.

### 2/5 — Canon user

*2026-05-09, version 6.3.1*

Real issues connecting to both my R6ii and R5. Spent a couple of hours trying to connect them up tonight.

Instructions poor and incomplete and nothing found to help on YouTube.

I’m sure the app is very good but basics of connecting to the camera needs more clear instructions.

### 4/5 — Resurrected my love of old DSLR

*2026-04-22, version 6.3.0*

After many years of mobile photography this app turns the table and resurrected my DSLR. The app provides a seamless way to take beautiful photos on my old Nikon DSLR automatically transferring them to my photoroll. And the developer was immediately open to my feedback and day later there was an update to a small issue. Well worth the money to be able to learn to love my Nikon again. Thank you!

### 3/5 — Lagging in video

*2026-02-04, version 6.2.4*

Sounds like the absolute app for iPad monitoring, but it’s seriously lagging in video, making it impossible to use in a professional environment. Might be good for podcast. Bought an atomos ninja phone with iPad clamp, best solution for iPad monitoring so far. Maybe it’s due to the usb-c limitations?

### 4/5 — A great app, but way more expensive

*2026-01-01, version 6.2.3*

I saw this application is $20 in Google pay, and only $10 in Huawei store. For real? But frankly speaking this is a very good application. I am Nikon user and this application is way more better than nikon official one.

### 4/5 — Err 070 canon EOS r

*2025-12-29, version 6.2.3*

Hi, when in live view, if I select the magnifier, I get err 070 and have to power off the camera. How can I resolve this issue? Thanks

### 2/5 — Intermittent

*2025-11-08, version 6.2.0*

No way to contact the developer by email for questions. I’m trying it with a Nikon z7, and every time the camera is turned off or the phone goes asleep, the Wi-Fi disconnects. Then you have to go through the camera and reconnect it all over again.

I wanted to record GPS data on my photos, i cannot a reliable application to do that.

### 2/5 — Doesn't work with my iPhone XS connected to my Canon EOS RP...

*2025-08-14, version 6.1.1*

Doesn't work with my iPhone XS connected to my Canon EOS RP, Lightning to USB-C.

It does however work with my 6th gen iPad Pro 12.9 USB-C to USB-C.

Lightning to USB-C does not work.

What kind of cable do I need?

### 1/5 — Won’t connect

*2025-08-10, version 6.1.1*

A year from now it’ll still be trying to find my camera that’s right next to it.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work.

*2025-08-02, version 6.1.1*

I have a Canon SX60 HS and although the app sees my camera it will not connect. It’s just in an endless loop of “connect-scanning for cameras-connect-scanning for cameras”. It can “see” my camera so I don’t know what the issue is. Same regardless of whether I’m using my iPad on my iPhone.

### 4/5 — 我購買軟體了 但依然不支援Nikon ZF 的用保護標記與星星標記挑選照片功能

*2025-08-02, version 6.1.1*

我購買軟體了！ 但依然不支援Nikon ZF 的用保護標記與星星標記挑選照片的功能

### 1/5 — Pessimo

*2025-11-18, version 6.2.0*

### 1/5 — Scam review

*2025-11-13, version 6.2.0*

Someone review they can check the shutters count without paying the subscription, I tried there’s different menu buttons and theres no “device info” to check shutters count.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fabulous app

*2026-08-23, version 6.3.1*

I photograph wild flowers with a Canon EOS80D, and recently started focus stacking to be able to show off the flowers in all their glorious detail. This app makes focus stacking so easy, controlling accurate focus increments on most of my lenses. Or any other kind of remote camera control. Make sure you use it far away from normal WiFi networks, then it works really well. Being able to see what the camera sees without accessing the viewfinder is magic. The controls work well too. Thank you!

Just a couple of improvements might help. Being able to adjust the focus increment would be handy. Another would be to queue camera requests: if the camera is busy saving a RAW image to a slow SD card, it can be hard to be sure you have changed the focus before the next shot. Audio feedback after initiating a focus increment might be helpful too.

I found a reproducible fault condition:

Canon EOS-80D
Connect to WiFi (set up to send images direct to camera).
Connect to camera
Live view
Move focus rectangle
Tap + to magnify
Tap + to magnify again
Camera locks up, err (70) displayed, only way to reset is remove and replace battery.

### 5/5 — Question

*2026-04-06, version 6.2.5*

I purchase the app in my android phone. Now i’m using iphone, how i can continue using purchased app?

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2026-02-14, version 6.2.4*

I use this with my Canon EOS 5D Mark III using USB as it doesn’t have WiFi. I have no problems connecting first time every time I don’t see why others have given it 2 out of 5 I never have a problem with it. I use it on my iPad Air M3 and its brilliant, the only very slight criticism is that when it downloads a photo from your camera it doesn’t give a sharp image not until you click on the image then its razor sharp.

### 5/5 — MUST HAVE for DSLR/Mirrorless

*2026-02-02, version 6.2.4*

No other app does it like this. This app is better than any proprietary or “official” app for monitoring and shooting. I love connecting to it for the continual timer. I’ll have it take a picture ever 5 seconds for 30 seconds while my camera is on the tripod of me and my wife when I have no other photographer. This is how I captured our engagement photos. Get this app you will not regret it. Live view over USB and wireless (if supported).

### 5/5 — Very good technically and aesthetically

*2025-11-05, version 6.2.0*

This app is by far my preferred app to connect &control my d810 . The image in LiveView give a really best experience than with other apps tested. And the ergonomic is perfect. Only 2 bugs with the Mode selector that is not working and a “calibration” in screen for AF at the extreme right not possible… I’ll try to update my phone and try again but that is the only reasons I don’t give a Five ;-)) thanks for your work ! Philippe

### 5/5 — Awesome budget friendly product

*2025-10-17, version 6.1.1*

Gave me the ability to upgrade my equipment and process without killing the bank. Workings great and is simple to use!

### 5/5 — Gracias recomendada

*2025-09-10, version 6.1.1*

Batalle mucho para encontrar para mi cámara canon T2i gracias

### 5/5 — Nikon 7100

*2025-09-01, version 6.1.1*

funktioniert perfekt!

### 5/5 — Now a very good app

*2025-07-07, version 6.1.1*

The latest updates have really improved the usability of the app - the connection seems to last even better than before allowing me to switch apps back and forth with out dropping - also allowing photos destination when downloading is particularly helpful - thank you.

One small nice to have improvement if it possible would be to allow the swipe down gesture to close the current photo and return to the library - other than that it’s great!
