iPhoneで使用。
高いスマートウォッチ買ったのにシャッター機能がついてないのがそもそも疑問。GARMINユーザーはなんとも思わないのか？
もともと入ってるカメラアプリでは使用不可と使い勝手はイマイチ

…but images are captured with 2Mpixels which is useless for my use case

Thanks for the feedback! You're right — the current image resolution is limited to 2MP.
This is based on system constraints at the moment, but we understand that higher resolution is important depending on the use case. We'll definitely consider improving this in a future update.

Can the function also be used during an activity? And if so, how can I start the app on the watch on a Garmin 6pro while it records a run, for example?

Thanks for the thoughtful question!

At the moment, Garmin does not allow running Connect IQ apps like ours in parallel with an activity (such as a run or ride) on most devices including the Fenix 6 Pro. This is due to system limitations on how apps and activities are handled.

We understand this limitation can affect usability for some users, and we’re keeping an eye on possible workarounds or future Garmin updates that might allow for more flexibility.
