What the actual heck. I bought it to start recording for a video presentation I need to make. Underwhelmed. ### 1/5 — Extremely limited *2023-02-09* Basically a remote shutter release. In fact, only a remote shutter release. They should make it more clear that this does not access your camera functions, just opens a basic new camera app that only lets you take photos, no video. I see developer said it was coming soon in response to a similar complaint A YEAR ago. ### 2/5 — You can’t see the photo preview *2020-02-01* This app is useless to me as I can’t see the photo preview or result on the control/host device. There is an option to save the photo to both devices but then when I check my Photo app it disconnects the devices and then I need to manually reconnect them to take another photo. I use it to photograph pictures that I convert to digital images. I set the iPhone in a mount, over the picture, and use the iPad to center the subject photo under the camera without having to look at the iPhone screen. When I am satisfied with the lighting and positioning. I remotely trigger the iPhone’s camera to capture the shot. I then review the result on the iPad and repeat the process with my next picture. ### 5/5 — Great app *2023-06-23, version 2.8* ♥️ ### 5/5 — It works, but... *2021-03-20, version 2.8* So, It does what was promised, easy and good looking, my only issue is that I actually need to see what my phone camera sees, but on the iPad. I need to use my iPhone's back camera, but I don't see what the camera sees, so I need a second device like my iPad to show me what my iPhone camera sees and take a picture when I need to. Is this a feature and I missed something or am I right?
