## What is Camera to Files?

Take photos straight into the right folder, with filenames that keep every job organized.

Choose a folder once, then capture photos, videos and scans that land exactly where you want them. Save to Files, iCloud Drive, OneDrive or Google Drive, so you stop digging through your camera roll later.

Made for work photos
- Pin favorite folders and switch jobs in one tap. Free includes 1 Favorite. Pro unlocks unlimited Favorites.
- Smart Naming with 21 tokens: date, time, weekday, place, device, image size, ISO, GPS, sequence numbers and more, with a live preview while you type

Camera control
Tap to focus and meter. Long-press to lock AE/AF and drag the reticle handle to bias exposure. Labeled lens chips (Ultra-Wide, Wide, Tele), self-timer (3s / 10s), and grids including rule of thirds, square, golden spiral and diagonals. Choose JPEG or HEIC and quality. Record video with stabilization. Pro unlocks up to 4K/60 video.

Bulk Rename (Pro)
Rename existing photos, videos and PDFs in any folder using your current naming template, with one-tap undo.

Made for frequent use

### 1/5 — Not useful

*2026-10-13*

Send button doesn't work - useless.

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the feedback. We identified and fixed an issue with the share button — it will work properly in the next update.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2026-09-08*

Installed 8 times never worked

**Developer response:** Really sorry for the trouble. This is likely caused by the folder selection step during initial setup — if it was skipped, the camera controls won't activate and there's no clear indication why. I'm working on a fix now.

In the meantime, try tapping the folder icon in the top-left corner and choosing "Select Folder." That should get everything working. If you're seeing a black screen, double-check that camera access is enabled under Settings > Shot2File

### 5/5 — Excellent app for separating business and personal photos

*2026-06-02*

This is an excellent app. I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time to solve the issue of mixing personal and business-related photos on my iPhone.

Because I use one phone for both personal and work purposes, my photo album was getting cluttered with work photos, business photos, and personal family photos all mixed together. It was becoming difficult to sort, organise, and delete business-related photos without accidentally affecting my personal photos.

Finally, thank God, I found an app that is genuinely useful. Now I can organise my personal photos and business photos separately in a much better way. This app has made things easier, cleaner, and more organised for me. Highly recommended for anyone who uses one phone for both work and personal life.

**Developer response:** This kind of review honestly makes the work worth it. The mixed-up
photos problem was a real pain for me too, which is part of why I
built this. Really happy it's clicking for you. Take care.

### 3/5 — Needs a size fix for smaller phones

*2026-05-31*

I know many apps these days have a newer bigger iPhones, but I have a iPhone SE 3rd and, and for some reason, because of the UI size, the capture button was cut off halfway before the bottom of the screen. I was thankfully able to use the setting to use volume button as a workaround.

**Developer response:** You're right, sorry about this. The new layout in 1.1.1 doesn't
fit smaller screens like the SE 3rd gen, so the shutter button
gets cut off. Working on a fix now. Really glad the volume button
option got you through in the meantime.

### 4/5 — Great app, missing a few things

*2026-05-11*

Let me start by saying this app is fantastic and I’ve been looking everywhere for something like this. However, the reason I’m only giving it four stars is because it’s still missing certain functionalities such as Live Photos and things of the sort. But conceptually amazing and so far so good.

**Developer response:** Live Photos is something I'm actively working on. I had it half-wired
into 1.1 but pulled it back because it wasn't quite ready. Trying to
get it in properly for the next release. If there's other stuff
you're missing, please tell me what so I can prioritize. Thanks for
the kind words.

### 3/5 — Room for improvement

*2026-05-03*

With camera controls on the screen, it uses what your camera actually sees (top and bottom) instead of scaling. Instead of scaling the view so you see the whole image. Also. When you hide controls and take pics, there's no confirmation when you pres shutter. So the ux is not there yet. Not worth pro feature. Thinking of vibe coding something myself

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, really helpful. You’re right on both. The camera view should match the actual photo, and there should be some kind of confirmation when you hit the shutter. Both are going in the next update. Hope you’ll give it another shot when it’s out.
