Upon being contacted by the developer, they let me know there is a lifetime license purchase to buy the app for $50. It seems a bit steep for someone like me who would maybe use the app a handful of times over the course of several years, so I think this app just isn’t meant for someone like me. I’d probably purchase the lifetime license if it was around $20, but $50 is just too rich for my blood, and that’s ok. If you use tons of cameras and lenses and film all the time, this app seems really solid, if not just a tad expensive. **Developer response:** Hi! But now they’ve updated the app to version 4 and the app is crippled unless you pay all over again. Why should I pay all over again, for the same features I’ve already paid for once already? Didn’t last after a day. Every time I kept signing in to use the LensKit app, it would cycle through the same pop up notice to use my Apple ID to sign in to CameraKit. I’d do that, close CameraKit, open LensKit, sign in, hit “Restore Purchases,” then the same pop up all over again. I choose camera and want to see what slow mo i can get with that and resolution and what i see, that if i choose camera red dragon for example, you said that i can write 6k - 300fps, its not true or phantom 4k in full resolustion - 3000 fps - its false, alexa mini can write 200 in UHD. You should fix it **Developer response:** Hi el_clone, I‘m sorry you had a bad experience with the app. Unfortunately the calculator isn’t designed to show what framerates are possible with a given resolution. For most cameras, you can use the Specs page to see which framerates are possible, but for some (like Red), there are just too many possible combinations to list. Showing what’s possible is a feature I’d love to add eventually but is surprisingly more difficult than you’d think to implement.
