Heute nicht mehr. Zu viel Schnickschnack, bunte Bildchen, Anmeldung erforderlich. Nicht im Sinne des Erfinders. The rate 4 because l would have like the following: Once you save a section, you have to amend the next section location before you can amend the previous one. It would have been good when you click on the locations, you can still see all locations. Camino Ninja was great for planning the Camino beforehand and then incredibly useful on the route for navigating where way marking is poor. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t work on variants *2026-05-25, version 2.2.410* The app works well unless a variant is offered and you want to take it. I was hoping that the application would be intuitive since there are no directions. ### 4/5 — First time walker *2026-05-16* The app was very helpful for planning our pilgrimage. We were easily able to determine the town we wanted to walk to and where to stay. Overall I recommend the app. Some areas of improvement, the mileage seemed to start from the center of town you started in to the center of town you ended in, I would have also liked the distance from albergue to albergue. It would have been more useful data during planning. Moving through the app could be clunky, if I wanted to see the elevation I had to back out of the map to open it. Rather than showing the current day on top you had to scroll down to it each time you opened the app. The pricing for a nights stay at the different albergues was outdated. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Difficult to navigate *2026-06-16, version 2.2.412* This App is not intuitive. I created a plan to walk the French Camino from St Jean Pied de Port and when I update details in a later stage it continually moves the updated later date to the beginning of the plan messing up the entire plan; this continues to happen even though the app is updated. A lot of the accommodations were very wrong in each town. We planned to get lunch in a town with a lot of stuff in the app( cafes and restaurants), and there was three buildings with nothing. Between Samos, Spain and Sarria, Spain, there is absolutely no accommodations. No water, no food, no bathrooms. The app told us that there would be many accommodations. I was so hungry and it was terrible. This app helped me plan my stages and its support for multiple plans enabled me to try different staging options. I really liked the ability to choose and display where I would stay in each town. The app’s data is frequently updated which gave me confidence I was seeing current not outdated information. And the development team is constantly adding more routes and many more helpful features. I would not walk a Camino without Camino Ninja.
