Camipack is the trip planner that's actually yours. No account, no ads — and your plans never leave your family's own iCloud. PLAN ON A LIVING MAP Every trip opens on a map that grows with your plan. Add places, restaurants, walks and tickets to each day; numbered pins match your timeline, and walking routes are drawn street by street. MAPS THAT WORK OFFLINE Download a trip's map once (a city is about 10–40 MB) and it keeps working in Airplane Mode — streets, labels, your pins and your routes. No signal abroad, no roaming, no problem. PLAN TOGETHER Share a trip with your family and edit it together. Changes sync within moments through iCloud, with a badge showing who changed what. Stop sharing any time. PACKING, PER PERSON One shared packing list plus a personal list for every family member. Check things off and watch the packed counter climb. BUDGET IN ANY CURRENCY Hotel in euros, museum in pounds, flights in shekels — record what you paid and in which currency, alongside what it counts as in your trip's currency. Made by a family, for families. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 1.74.1 — 2026-09-05 A NEW LOOK, STARTING WITH THE ICON The mountains are green now, matching the app they open. On the trip map, the day you are actually in is marked in red — so at a glance you can tell today from the rest of the week. SOMEWHERE TO WALK, FOUND FOR YOU Ask a thin day what is nearby and Camipack finds the museums, parks and landmarks within a walk, then puts them in an order that does not double back on itself. Drop any you do not want. Nothing is added until you keep it. DIRECTIONS, IN THE APP YOU ALREADY USE Every drive in your day has a Directions button. Choose Waze, Google Maps or Apple Maps — Camipack hands over the start and the destination and gets out of the way. NOTHING GOES BY ACCIDENT Taking a place out of a day no longer throws it away. It moves to Saved, ready to go back on any other day. Deleting asks first, and shortening a trip says which days it would take with it. YOUR BOOKINGS, ACTUALLY READ Hotel confirmations that gave up nothing now fill in properly — dates written without a year, check-in and check-out sitting in a column apart from their labels, an afternoon check-in that used to be read as two in the morning. Flight confirmations no longer mistake a passenger's surname for the departure airport. THE WHOLE PLAN, IN ANY CALENDAR Add to Calendar carries the drives and their times as well as the places, and writes a file that iCloud, Google, Outlook or any other calendar app can open. ### 1.71.2 — 2026-09-03 WALK, CYCLE OR DRIVE Pick how you're travelling and Camipack works out the route and the time for each — real streets, from the map you already downloaded, with no signal. YOUR DAY STOPS PRETENDING DRIVING IS FREE A hundred kilometres between two stops used to be shown as a walk. Camipack now notices, suggests driving, and offers to add it to your day with the hours it really takes. EVERYTHING OPENS ON YOUR OWN MAP Places, documents and departures open on Camipack's map — pinned, with your trip's pins and routes around them — instead of sending you to another app. A ROUTE THAT NOTICES THE PLAN CHANGED Move a stop and the day says so and offers to redraw. Before, a route kept its old line and said nothing. ### 1.66.2 — 2026-09-01 WALK THERE WITH NO SIGNAL Search your trip's downloaded map for a place, tap Walk there, and Camipack takes you along real streets, turn by turn — in airplane mode, with nothing leaving your phone. FIND PLACES WITHOUT A CONNECTION Type "pharmacy", "restaurant" or a street name and search the map you already downloaded. Distances are measured from where you are standing, not from your first hotel. TAP THE MAP TO ASK WHAT THAT IS Touch a cafe, a museum or a station to see its name, then save it for later or add it straight to a day. A MAP THAT FACES THE WAY YOU DO A compass button turns the map to your heading, so the streets on screen match the ones in front of you. ### 1.60.0 — 2026-08-30 NOW IN POLISH Camipack speaks Polish — the whole app, not just the edges. iOS lets you set the language for Camipack alone, without switching your phone. SEVEN LANGUAGES English, German, French, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian, App Store listings included. A BUS STOP IS NOT A RAILWAY STATION The station field used one word for trains and buses, so every language had to settle on a compromise that suited neither. Each mode now has its own word. SMALL THINGS THAT WERE STILL IN ENGLISH The three buttons under the map — Docs, Packing, Budget — stayed in English whatever language you chose, while the help text referred to them by their translated names. The same for “Find on the map”, and for the list of fields filled in from a document. A BUDGET THAT SAYS WHAT IT MEANS In several languages the amount over budget read as “finished”. It now says what it should. ### 1.58.1 — 2026-08-29 GO TO MORE THAN ONE PLACE A trip can now name every city it visits — Milan, Bolzano and Riva del Garda, or Berlin and Paris. Each place anchors the trip, so searching for somewhere looks where you are going rather than where your phone happens to be. Say whether each one is a city, a region or a whole country, and Camipack adjusts how far it looks and how it cuts the map. MAPS THAT SKIP THE COUNTRYSIDE Offline maps are cut around each place on its own rather than one box around everything, so a trip that flies out and back no longer downloads the sea in between. The ground along a journey comes too, at the detail that journey is worth: streets for a walk, roads for a drive, the coastline for a ferry. Flights need none — there is nothing to navigate at altitude. TICKETS FROM A PHOTO Attach a booking from your photo library, not only from Files. Camipack reads photographed tickets — and now reads the booking page from your airline's website too, which for a budget airline is often the only thing carrying the flight number, since the emailed invoice has none. MORE AIRLINES READ PROPERLY Tickets from easyJet, Wizz Air, IndiGo, JetBlue and Volotea now import. Their flight numbers contain a digit in the airline code, and Camipack had been quietly refusing every one of them. ONE FLIGHT, HOWEVER MANY TICKETS A family flying together holds a ticket each. The day now shows the journey once, and one card reaches the Lock Screen instead of an identical one per passenger. Both tickets stay where they are — each is that traveller's own document.
