## What is Camipack?

Camipack is the trip planner that's actually yours. No account, no ads — and your plans never leave your own iCloud.

PLAN ON A LIVING MAP
Every trip opens on a map that grows with your plan. Add places, restaurants, walks and tickets to each day; numbered pins match your timeline, and walking routes are drawn street by street.

MAPS THAT WORK OFFLINE
Download a trip's map once (a city is about 10–40 MB) and it keeps working in Airplane Mode — streets, labels, your pins and your routes. No signal abroad, no roaming, no problem.

PLAN TOGETHER
Share a trip with family or friends and edit it together. Changes sync within moments through iCloud, with a badge showing who changed what. Stop sharing any time.

PACKING, PER PERSON
One shared packing list plus a personal list for every traveller. Check things off and watch the packed counter climb.

BUDGET IN ANY CURRENCY
Hotel in euros, museum in pounds, flights in US dollars — record what you paid and in which currency, alongside what it counts as in your trip's currency. Camipack keeps both, and the totals stay in one currency so they always add up.

DOCUMENTS WHERE YOU NEED THEM
Attach tickets and bookings to the day they belong to. With Camipack Pro, it reads them for you and fills in times and addresses — only into fields you left empty.

AND THE REST
• The whole trip in your calendar, with alerts
• A Home Screen widget with the countdown — or today's route
• Trip templates and duplication for the yearly favourites
• Export any trip as a single file: the full plan with documents
• Free flight lookup and tracking — type the number, Camipack fills in the airline, gate and times, and checks for changes in the background

CAMIPACK PRO — OPTIONAL
Planning a trip, and tracking your flights, is free, in full. Camipack Pro is a subscription for one thing worth automating: scan tickets and receipts — drop in a PDF or photo and it reads the details for you, instead of typing them in.
7-day free trial, then billed through your Apple ID. Cancel anytime in Settings.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No servers. No account. No analytics. No ads. Your data lives on your devices and in your own iCloud — we couldn't read it if we wanted to. Camipack Pro is no different: no account to create, no data to hand over, billed entirely through Apple.

Made by a family, for everyone who travels.

Camipack Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription with a 7-day free trial, billed through your Apple Account. Cancel any time in Settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.106.2 — 2026-09-28

CAMIPACK PRO
Photograph a ticket, booking or receipt and Camipack reads it for you — times, places, amounts, filled in. Optional: $3.99 a month with a 7-day free trial, or $24.99 a year. Planning, offline maps, walking directions, packing, budgets and flight tracking stay free.

WALK THERE, WITHOUT SIGNAL
Tap Walk there and a screen opens with just your route. Start turns it into turn-by-turn directions on the trip's own downloaded map: spoken turns, a new route if you take a wrong one, and the next turn on the Lock Screen. Done takes you back where you were.

NEARBY, ON A MAP
Places near you now sit on a map beside the list. Tap one to see where it is and how far on foot, walk there, or open its card — with the address, phone and website when you have signal.

A PLANNER FOR EVERYONE
Solo, as a couple, with friends or with the whole family — Camipack is now simply a trip planner. And every word of it is translated into all seven languages.

### 1.100.0 — 2026-09-19

TWO LUNCHES ARE ONE LUNCH
When a day holds several places at the same hour — three restaurants at half one, two galleries at three — they now sit together as one choice rather than as three stops nobody planned to make. Choose one and the route runs through it; leave it open and the map draws the rest in grey. Group places by hand, add one to a group, take one out, or separate them again.

YOUR DAY STARTS WHERE YOU SLEPT
A day now runs from the bed you woke in, through its places in clock order, to the bed you sleep in tonight. The first morning starts at the airport you landed at and the day you fly home ends at the one you leave from — read from the ticket, not from the date. Your hotel sits at both ends of the day's list, and says so plainly when its address can't be found on the map, with a way to fix it there and then.

TICKETS THAT REACH THEIR DAYS
A flight confirmation filed under Documents can now be read onto the day it belongs to, airports and terminal looked up, instead of sitting in a folder doing nothing. A hotel booking finds its own place on the map however you added it.

ONE ROUTE PER DAY, AND IT CAN CHANGE
A day has one route, offered above its list, and tapping it opens that route again to be changed — a different way round, or a different way of travelling on each leg. Walking, driving, transit and cycling can be mixed inside one day.

SOMEWHERE ON THE WAY
Look for food or shops along a route and see what each detour really costs, in time and in distance, before you add it.

THE TRIP MAP SAYS WHAT IT IS SHOWING
Every pin on the whole-trip map is named. Underneath, the days of the trip, each saying where it goes and how far it walks — open one for its stops in order. Tap a stop or tap its pin, and the other follows.

TODAY'S PLAN, ON THE HOME SCREEN
Three new widgets. The large and medium ones list today's stops in order, with what the day has cost so far. The small one shows only the next place — where it is, when you're due there, how far it is. And one that opens the camera straight onto a receipt, because the moment to photograph one is while you're still holding it.

THE NEXT TURN, ACROSS THE TOP
Walking directions now put the instruction where you actually look: a banner along the top of the map, the way every navigation app does it, instead of a bar at the bottom of the screen.

TURNS YOU CAN SEE, AND FEEL
A turn is named after something you can see when there is something worth naming — left at the pub, rather than left in 40 metres. Your phone can also tap the turn out in your pocket: twice for left, three times for right, one long buzz on arrival. Enough to follow a route without looking at anything.

THE MAP TURNS WITH YOU
While you are following a route the map faces the way you are walking, with a tap to point it back to north. It also remembers where you actually went — a dotted trail behind you, and the offer to walk it back exactly the way you came, which is the part of an unfamiliar city people get wrong.

A WALK THAT CAN REFUSE THE STAIRS
Walking routes can now avoid steps altogether: for a pram, for a suitcase, or for anyone who would rather not carry either up a station staircase.

### 1.84.0 — 2026-09-13

TAP A PLACE, SEE THE PLACE
A place in your day used to open a form full of text fields. Now it opens on its own map, with its address, phone number and opening hours, and everything you might do next: call it, open its site, buy the ticket, open the confirmation you saved. Editing is one tap away, where it belongs.

WALKING DIRECTIONS WITH NO SIGNAL
Directions now offers Camipack alongside Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze. Choose it and the walk is drawn on your trip's own downloaded map, with a couple of ways to go and the distance for each — working in Airplane Mode, the same as the rest of the map.

SPLIT WITH FRIENDS, OR KEEP ONE PURSE
Expenses can be split equally, by shares, or by exact amounts, and Camipack works out who owes whom in the fewest payments. Travelling as a family? Keep one purse and skip all of it.

A FILE THAT UPDATES THE TRIP YOU HAVE
Importing an updated plan no longer leaves you with two copies of the same trip. It adds what is new, and fills in the blanks on places you already have — addresses, map pins, phone numbers — without ever overwriting something you typed yourself.

WHAT STILL NEEDS A TICKET
Any place can say it needs booking, so the trip can answer the question nobody remembers to ask: what have we not bought yet? Attach the confirmation and it stops asking.

A DAY YOU CAN READ WITHOUT LEAVING IT
Every stop now shows its address and how far it is from the last one, and tapping one opens it where it sits, with the rest of the day still on screen.

THE DAY'S ROUTE, ON A MAP
Before you keep a route you can see its shape, which is the only thing that tells you whether the day doubles back on itself. Tap a pin to start there, or reverse the whole thing.

PHOTOGRAPH A RECEIPT, GET AN EXPENSE
Point the camera at a till receipt and Camipack reads the total, the shop and the date, then opens a filled-in expense for you to check. It shows the other figures it saw, so a wrong total is one tap to fix. Everything happens on the phone; no photo is uploaded anywhere.

FIXES
Update Map no longer freezes, and no longer deletes the map it was updating. A flight shows one departure time instead of two. A link saved on a place is now a link you can open.
