I have an iPhone 8 not the latest, still can’t connect it like everyone else. Camera quality is fine. They need to update this freaking app. So frustrating. Will return it. Better pay three times the price for a go pro. I have connected the camera to WiFi, downloaded CamKing app and it continues to say it is not connected. It will not transfer my photos to my phone, or perform any useful function. Just as everyone else says, the app doesn’t work. If you actually paid someone competent to get this stuff right you’d give GoPro a run. As it is you just turn more and more potential customers off. Se continua così tra un po’ non funzionerà più. ### 1/5 — Works, but that’s about all. *2021-10-24* If its sole purpose is to connect to an Akaso action camera and download then it does that, but that’s pretty much it. On the receiving device (such as iphone or ipad) you have to turn off the screen locking, because if it goes into lock screen mode the downloads stop and won’t restart. If you have more than a screenful of files downloading you can’t check progress because the ability to scroll is lost. You have to go to settings (on the go pro) and click wifi and click on. Then you go to your phone and search “AKASO” and put in the passcode. Turn on the Wi-Fi on the camera, go to your settings and connect. THEN open the app. When you go to download the pics, be on the camera side then download them (this downloads then to the app) then click over to the phone looking icon and Then you can download them to your phone or iPad!
