## What is CamMeasure Lite Measure height width distance area?

CamMeasure is the iPhone-app with highest performance by measuring height (Lite Version), width, distances and areas. It is a must have for every tradesman, handyman, architects, constructor, booth builder, landscape gardener and any technical interested person. You are able to measure in between seconds by using one of the six measuring procedures. The results are going to be displayed directly within the camera view. You can save it as a picture. Within a few minutes you are able to measure complete rooms and manage your projects by using the integrated database for pictures. All functions and measuring procedures are explained by interactive videos. CamMeasure HI and MI (PRO ONLY!) has been developed to reach significant improvements of the measurements. Those calibration functions adapt the app to your individual measuring procedure. If CamMeasure is calibrated correctly and the measuring procedure is followed you are able to reach a tolerance of only 3% with CamMeasure Pro.

I downloaded this app with the object of measuring the height of a building. I should have known when it asked me for my weight and height. Height is relevant but I fail to see how my weight comes into the equation. 
The measurement uses Pythagoras’ theorem to calculate the height of the measured object and therefore needs to know the height of the camera above ground in order to accurately measure the distance from the base of the building. 
It should be noted that the equation relies upon the horizontal distance to the base being the same at the top and bottom of the target, the top must be perpendicular to the bottom. For instance, no accurate measurement could be made of Nelson’s column, the target at the top is further away horizontally than the plinth at the base. This would not prevent you doing a number of measurements but it does make it more difficult. Neither would have been possible as the App failed to display and all I got was a blank screen.

Checked height function. Worked OK. Bought upgrades for saving files and rest of functions. Files unlocked, rest didn’t. Deleted app and downloaded again. All in app purchases now locked.

Was hoping to use this app to measure lines on the outside of the home. Does not work for anything above my body height. Even bought the pro version thinking it was a locked feature. If you do base moulding, you’re in luck! Anything else, don’t bother.

This is a very limited demo. The demo is supposed to measure height but it doesn't work. I tried to measure several objects of known height. It reported a 7'6" door as being 16'5". It reported a 16' ceiling height as being 28'.
