Verstehe den Sinn und Zweck hinter dieser App überhaupt nicht.

Im Großraum Hamburg sind haufenweise Einträge automatisiert hinzugefügt worden ohne dass diese durch irgendwelche Nutzer überprüft wurden. An einigen Stellen können diese Einträge gar nicht vorhanden sein.

Es werden so viele Waschgel Möglichkeiten in Hamburg angezeigt, dass anscheinend jeder Waschsalon und jede Wäscherei registriert wurde.

Welchen Vorteil soll das gegenüber Google Maps bringen? Dort kann ich ohne Abo gezielt nachdem suchen was ich benötige und habe zu jedem Eintrag haufenweise Rezensionen und eine Bewertung.

Wer mit Google Maps sein Ziel nicht erreicht, wird mit dieser App definitiv auch keine Freude haben. Und wenn muss man für etwas zahlen was man bei Google Maps kostenlos erhält.

Zum Sinn der App: CamperFix ist keine allgemeine Karten-App und soll Google Maps auch nicht ersetzen. Der Fokus liegt auf dem, was Camper unterwegs brauchen: Werkstätten und Camping-Shops in der Nähe, mit Bewertungen und Erfahrungsberichten von anderen Campern – also nicht „irgendein Ort“, sondern „Wo wurde mein Wohnmobil schon mal gut repariert?“ oder „Wo bekomme ich Camping-Zubehör?“ Das ist aus eigener Erfahrung entstanden: nach vielen Werkstattbesuchen auf Reise.

Zu den vielen Waschsalon-Einträgen in Hamburg: Dein Eindruck trifft einen wichtigen Punkt. Ein Teil der Einträge (u. a. Waschsalons) wurde automatisiert aus öffentlichen Datenquellen ergänzt, um die Karte zu füllen – ohne dass jeder einzelne Ort vorher von der Community geprüft wurde. Das kann dazu führen, dass Einträge veraltet, ungenau oder an manchen Stellen gar nicht vorhanden sind. Das nehmen wir ernst; Qualität vor Masse ist uns wichtiger als eine möglichst volle Karte. Wenn du konkrete falsche Einträge siehst, kannst du sie melden oder korrigieren helfen.

Vergleich mit Google Maps: Bei Google Maps findest du viele Orte mit vielen allgemeinen Rezensionen – das ist stark für die alltägliche Suche. CamperFix ergänzt das mit Camper-spezifischen Infos: z. B. ob eine Werkstatt Wohnmobile bearbeitet, ob Gasflaschen getauscht werden, ob es Entsorgung für Grau-/Schwarzwasser gibt, oder wie andere Camper den Besuch erlebt haben. Die farbigen Marker zeigen auf einen Blick, wie ein Standort in der Community bewertet wurde. Für reine Alltagssuche (Restaurant, Supermarkt, Waschsalon ohne Camper-Kontext) ist Google Maps oft die bessere Wahl – und das ist in Ordnung.

Kostenlos vs. Abo: Die Kernfunktionen sind kostenlos: Karte mit Werkstätten und Camping-Shops, Standorte hinzufügen und bewerten. Premium (oder ein 7-Tage-Trial) schaltet zusätzliche Filter und Kategorien frei – Gas, Wasser, Waschanlagen, Waschsalons, Waagen usw. – sowie Features wie erweiterte Suche, Favoriten und Direkt-Chat. Wenn du keinen Camper nutzt oder nur allgemeine Werkstätten suchst, bringt dir die App vermutlich wenig Mehrwert – dann ist Google Maps die bessere Wahl. Für unsere Zielgruppe unterwegs mit Wohnmobil ist das der Unterschied.
