## What is Campfire?

Campfire is a real-time team chat app for groups of any size. Connect to your self-hosted Campfire server to send messages, share files, join video calls, and receive push notifications — all in one place.

How it works

A team admin sets up a Campfire server and invites members. Once invited, users download the app, enter their server address, and sign in. This follows the same general model used by communication platforms such as Slack, Mattermost, and Microsoft Teams.
