## What is Camping List?

Camping List is a clean, simple, reusable checklist app, pre-loaded with an initial collection of useful camping-related sub-lists, such as "Clothes", "Cooking and Dining", and "Equipment".  Each list contains useful items you might take on a camping trip.  Add, delete, and modify the items and lists as you please.

Update: Es gibt eine Druck-Funktion. Diese druckt aber immer ALLES aus, selbst wenn man den Druck innerhalb einer Unterliste startet. Ich glaube mittlerweile, dass der Entwickler seine eigene App nicht besonders liebt…


Update: Zwar kann man jetzt Einträge kopieren usw., aber ein Edit der Namen (wie in Version 2.0!) ist weiter nicht möglich. Völlig unverständlich! Und was nützt mir jetzt, dass nun die Listen der Vorversionen und importiert werden können? Denn meine mühsam ins Deutsche übertragene Listen sind seit dem letzten Downgrade -„Update“ unwiderruflich verloren. Man kann manche Entwickler einfach nicht verstehen :-(



Vor der Version 6.0 (s. Version 2.0!) konnte man Einträge (mit ziemlich viel Aufwand!) ändern, also vom Englischen ins Deutsche. Leider geht das nicht mehr, auch sind alle meine mühevollen Übersetzungen und Daten seit dem Update auf 6.0 komplett verschwunden! So nicht, liebe Entwickler - deshalb nur noch einen Stern!

Abgesehen davon stimmen die Screenshots im Appstore nicht mit der aktuellen App überein. Auch sehr schlecht!

After this recent update, all of the custom items that I put into this list over the several years that I’ve had it have completely disappeared. It is reset to the basic list that it comes with when you first download it. It’s pretty much useless for me now, and it took so much time to put in all of my custom things. Deleted the app.

It’s not pretty. It’s not flashy. But it’s not trying to be. Instead of trying to top the charts with clickbait, the devs made a genuinely good app that is completely ad-free. The app is advertised as being tailored to packing for camping, and it absolutely is and does that incredibly well. 

I love the sub-lists feature. I can put winter clothing in its own sub-list inside the main clothing category so it has some separation, because it’s not always winter. 

5/5. Awesome job. It still holds up a decade later.

Loved it, but no longer works on iPhone after latest iOS ( 13.1 ) update. Doesn’t save any new items and anything you check off.

I love this app and use it all the time for my trips away. It comes with some categories and item lists as suggestions but I found the best thing to do is start afresh with your own lists. Every time you forget something add it to the list and you never forget it again. Great app and the only Camping list you will need.

I was messing around and deleting lists, but there’s no way to reset it and get them back! I deleted and reinstalled the app but all the suggested lists are gone and I can’t get them back. Now the whole thing is even more useless

Hi. I just down loaded this on my iPad and all the preloaded menu is missing. I went ahead and typed a list and it shut off. Also I’ve had this on my iPhone and it’s doing the same thing since your update. I’m sure it’s a bug fix. Please address soon.

Sounds frivolous, but I always liked the old pine tree, campfire and picnic table icon.  If the new icon is a pink square with CL on it, it may be a deal breaker.  I’m a living, breathing lumberjack, and this one cosmetic change is too hard to swallow.  Kidding aside, I’ll use your app and dream of my rugged campsite.
