### 3/5 — Saving payment

*2025-12-17, version 4.23.0*

I love this website/app, however I do wish it was easier to pay. Filling out card information every time is a pain. Saving the payment, Apple Pay something would be nice.

### 3/5 — Woks well until the check out.

*2025-04-11, version 4.20.0*

Will never let us book.

### 3/5 — One one problem

*2024-06-26, version 4.20.0*

I love the app just wish there was a way to keep a credit card on file

### 2/5 — Why social security

*2023-10-16, version 4.14.0*

I find it hard to believe you need a social security when you have my card number

### 4/5 — Easy but one drawback

*2022-10-03, version 4.14.0*

This app is super easy to use and really convenient. There is only one drawback and that is that it does not save my payment information or I can’t find where to go to save it and I have to re-type that in every time.

Other than that it is a great app.

### 2/5 — Worthless web site

*2022-09-17, version 4.13.0*

I used to like this web site, now your web site is telling me that my information is wrong. Sooooo, long story short, I have used this app in the past, but I know that Pamona camping is going to suffer from not being able to make reservations.

### 2/5 — Struggling

*2022-04-22, version 4.9.0*

I’m really trying to like this app. However, I have a camp permit which I purchased for KS State Parks but there is no place to enter the permit number! I’m not going to pay the extra $10 fee per night twice.

### 2/5 — Easy!

*2021-05-18, version 4.5.0*

Works great. Would be even better if we could save our credit card information!

### 1/5 — SSN

*2021-05-17, version 4.5.0*

Won’t let you finish order Bc you can’t put in SSN. Why that is needed I have no clue. Super glitchy also

### 1/5 — Social security number? GET REAL!

*2021-04-28, version 4.5.0*

It’s pretty unsettling when a company asks for your social security number when you just want to reserve a camping spot...something is just not right about that. I would beware of where your information gets sent.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not user friendly

*2026-04-21, version 4.23.0*

Can’t change or update my personal information

### 1/5 — Stupid

*2025-08-20, version 4.20.0*

Hate it

### 1/5 — User unfriendly

*2024-05-16, version 4.20.0*

When trying to put in our annual camp permit number, could not submit it for our camp discount.

### 1/5 — horrifically bad app

*2024-04-07, version 4.19.0*

Full of ads, requires endless amounts of personal data, just to reserve a campsite

### 1/5 — Poor site

*2023-09-01, version 4.14.0*

Gfjj

### 1/5 — Not user friendly

*2022-12-27, version 4.14.0*

Took me at least an hour to figure out and had to figure out at the campsite with crummy internet. Usually camp in Colorado and their state has a much easier system.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2022-07-10, version 4.13.0*

No settings, can’t delete, says I have duplicate account if I log in on website. What a joke!

### 1/5 — Store my credit card info

*2022-01-15, version 4.9.0*

KS State Parks get with the times and have your app store me CC info so I don’t have to keep putting in my info. Freaking annoying!!!

On a side note, when are you going to stop allowing people to live in your state parks? #itstrue

### 1/5 — Very poor app

*2021-08-19, version 4.8.0*

No autocomplete fields. Credit card is not even recognized for auto fill

### 1/5 — Not great

*2021-08-02, version 4.8.0*

Would be nice if back up button was available on all pages. Would not let me enter my 14 day discount #. The link just kept taking me to the wrong screen.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Again

*2026-08-09, version 4.23.0*

Again

### 5/5 — Beautiful park

*2026-06-09, version 4.23.0*

I’m totally impressed with the cabin. It is very nice. Sleeps a lot of people. This is my kind of camping.

### 5/5 — Great park

*2026-06-03, version 4.23.0*

Wonderful camping. So many selections to accommodate whether tent, camper, or cabin.

### 5/5 — Family Camping Spot

*2023-07-08, version 4.14.0*

Hillsdale is a great place to take the family for a fun time of camping. People are so friendly the sites are very nice, the water is great! We have taken family their to camp twice in the month of July. Great Fun!

### 5/5 — Slick!

*2023-06-15, version 4.14.0*

I did have to download the app in order to figure out which sites were vacant. The other option would be to drive around all the sites and look at the tags.
But I would recommend downloading the app because you can see the vacancies and you can check in and pay for your site without going back to the self-pay station. I had to create an account and username so be prepared. But once the account is created, it’s easy to use.

### 5/5 — kansas

*2023-05-26, version 4.14.0*

kansas is horrible when it comes to camping only state lakes with no first come first serve, and public lands are always closed off. kansas can do better than this they are always way behind other states

### 5/5 — Easy Peasy

*2021-10-05, version 4.8.0*

The app was incredibly easy to use, especially if you already know what campsite you want in the campground you want.

### 5/5 — Quiet hours and invasion

*2021-08-16, version 4.8.0*

Spent 2 separate weekends here...first one, our campsite was taken over by the neighboring campers. They decided to park their chairs right behind our fire pit and play cornhole when there was plenty of commons area further away...their kids decided to lounge under our campsite tree and climb it as well. No privacy! The 2nd time out the neighbors 2 campsites down were blaring their music (we all love the same music..not)all night even after quiet hours (11:00 which is late)til 1:00 am...there is no respect of others camping sites or peAce which is what we were looking for...no one patrolling the area!

### 4/5 — Good app

*2026-06-12, version 4.23.0*

Needs to have a feature which stores your information- equipment, payment card, etc. Otherwise it’s pretty good. I haven’t had any problems with it or trouble using it.

### 4/5 — Maps

*2024-03-13, version 4.19.0*

Only change I would suggest is to have the option to see the maps in a satellite view
