What is the point of having this app? Camp Minder needs to make some serious changes. ### 1/5 — Mom *2016-07-21* Not helpful to parents. Want to sent emails, look at photos, easily upload photos of key docs. Developers, as one myself, I’m confident that your team receives emails when reviews are posted. Has Campanion app development been abandoned? Is there a new one on the horizon? With many camps using smart devices, tablets, etc I’m not sure why it’s been 4 years since the last update was pushed other than perhaps resources being shifted to your other app for parents. When out in the field access to a desktop is typically limited or doesn’t exist. Loading a whole webpage, one that is not that well optimized for cellular or low-bandwidth networks nor for mobile screens, is quite silly but not in a camp way. An app is often quite lighter on data an infinitely more effective at navigation compared to a desktop site. Please kindly consider revamping the Campanion app for use on modern and current hardware. Additionally please simply overhaul you UI and navigation. I’d like to suggest Discord, Microsoft Teams, Outlook and SharePoint as examples of excellent navigation layouts. ### 1/5 — Cannot create an account *2025-07-01* I installed the app but there is no option to create an account only login. ### 1/5 — Utterly useless *2023-06-24* 1. Can’t login 2. Can’t login 3. No way to reset pw or credentials from app 4. In 2023.. It’s completely and utterly useless. As a camp CEO, in the middle of season, this is incredible frustrating. ### 1/5 — Truly a worse user experience than snail mail *2021-07-27* App developed to make the camp experience more user friendly, streamlined. Utterly fails on all fronts. Will seek camps that don’t use this tech next year. Total crap! ### 1/5 — Does not work *2021-07-20* One would assume that the credentials (username/password) that work on the web interface would also work on the app, but - alas - the app does not work at all. Returns an error message.
